My amazing hairstylist has used this on my hair for years and finally I asked her about it and ordered some on amazon. The scent is herbaceous and strong, but fades after a while. I like to use it after my hair is freshly washed (I air dry it) and I have these coarse and wiry gray hairs that do weird things at that point in the hair washing stage. This product is waxy, I rub it between my fingers til it has more give and then I run it through the problem areas. It has good hold without any of the BS that comes from spray or mousse. Really excellent product. I don't use much and not every day, so the small tub will last me a long time.

I have been using Wax for a few years after a recommendation from my stylist. It’s high hold, low shine, and easily washes off the hands.

This hair product didn't work for me,It says it is a matte finish but actually it makes my hair sticky and greasy.Sadly I can’t use this product but in general it seems to be not bad,may work for other hair types.

So I like this wax a lot. That being said it does not emulsify in your hands well when you rub a dollop between them. So the pro-tip is to lightly wet one of your palms and shake off the excess water. Then try to emulsify it...it will work a lot better.This Wax has good hold and creates a body and "piecey" mass to the hair which is excellent. Make sure not to use too much or your hair will definitely clump up excessively.With the right usage and utilizing the tips I listed above I would recommend highly. Excellent Wax :)

I’ve been using this product for a few years and have always liked it, but this recent delivery from Amazon was old and sitting on a warehouse shelf for a long time before I received it. The product is chalky and dry, not like the creamy smooth I usually get. To prove my point I ordered it again directly from Hairstory, and it was the hair wax I was used to. I will never order it from Amazon again.

I truly enjoy this hairstory wax. It smells so yummy and does what it’s supposed to. I use it on wash days where my hair can dry a little poofier and also use it other days to give a more lived in look. It smells incredible as well. My only con would be that it does leave your hands feeling a little sticky so you have to wash them after using this but that’s not a big deal imo so yeah, I’d say I recommend this product!

It is quite expensive but totally worth it
