Great keepsake on Alpina and the history... excellent read

A must for anyone who considers themselves an Alpina enthusiast

You have to look at this with a European eye, the presentation whilst not easily read by this typical Yorkshireman, is however very typical of mainland European motoring literature presented in different languages; pages are columnised, if indeed that is a word, to present the same story from differing personal view points in both English and German, with priority given to the German reader.I expected a better model breakdown in truth as I was looking back with a fond eye of past vehicles I'd owned and, as previously commented, it's a great shame this wasn't done. That said, it's an enjoyable read, tracing a brief history and very well presented for the market aimed for.I received mine excellently packed and to be honest there's nothing quite like a nostalgic read with the smell of a new book and fresh coffee.Many thanks to the supplier.

Great book by Delius Klasing as usual. It is the official book of the history of the german tuner and car manufacturer Alpina, strictly related to the bigger and more notorious brand BMW. It is very large in size and quite detailed as well, you will for sure appreciate the numerous wonderful pictures. I have only one little complaint about this book, it lacks a bit of coherence throughout the pages and isn't very well organized into chapters, but apart from that, it is an overall stunning coffee table book.

Bin etwas enttäuscht über viele Berichte, die ich und Freunde nichtfür interessant bzw. zeitgemäß halten. Sehr wenig Infos über die gängigen MODELLE. Speziell über die Dreier Reihe ( B 3 / B 3 S) die das Rückgrat des Alpina Geschäfts sind wird hier viel zu wenig berichtet.Hätte man mehr draus machen können. Vor allem was zukünftig geplant ist, erfährt man hier nicht.Wäre vlt. besser gewesen noch 5 Jahre zu warten, denn es hat sich doch viel getan in Sachen Alpina in den letzten 5 Jahren.
