4 1/2 STARS!Lori Foster has a magical way of making you feel like you're home the minute you open one of her books! With heartfelt descriptions and interactions, you can see the characters come to life right beyond your eyes and feel their heartache and joy as the pages fly by. THE SOMERSET GIRLS brings us the story of two sisters who couldn't be more different in personality, but love and support each other deeply. The fact that they share the running of an animal rescue with all of their spare time will delight readers who can't get enough of their own furry creatures.Autumn Somerset is simple yet delightful. She expends her creative side as a designer and enjoys burying her nose in a book with any downtime she manages to eek out after her day job and her farm duties. She can't believe it when she hears the guy she crushed on in high school is back in town, and she only hopes she doesn't find herself unable to speak in his presence like all those times in school when she became a stammering mess.Ember Somerset is the life of the party. She loves immersing herself in life at all times and never wants to take the time to think or feel. She gives as good as she gets with playing hard to get around their farmhand Mike, but she likes the look of love on Autumn so much that she's considering letting him catch her to try her own hand at the game.I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a family rich plot filled with comedy, romance and lots and lots of heart. The adorable kiddo and animals make this story come to life! I really enjoyed them all.

The Somerset Girls is an amazing read. I couldn't put it down. I love the dynamics between the sisters Autumn and Ember. They have this amazing bond that has them knowing when the other needs them. They are strong ladies that you will adore. You can't help but fall in love with this book. There is just that little something special about it that you will love. I love Autumn's passion for design and animals. She is amazing with Tash's daughter Sadie. You will fall for Sadie for the start and giggle along with her. Tash is an amazing father and finally sees what no one really sees in Autumn. I love them together. I love that we get multiple romances going on in The Somerset Girls. Lets not forget Ember. She is stronger then you think and but puts up a front. You feel her pain when her story comes to more light. I love the banter between Ember and Mike. He is perfect for her once he understands more about her. You will love each couple and love this family bond. The Somerset Girls is a perfect rainy day read. It is effortless and sweet and completely will fill your heart so much.

THE SOMERSET SISTERS is a sweet romance story about two quite different sisters that are in sync in the animal rescue farm they run as well as the careers they have on the side of that but in the whole life and romance department, well not so much in sync as in hide away and ignore what the heart yearns for. Lori Foster delivers a sweet contemporary romance filled with characters that had me yearning to go visit and talk to in a small town that was so charming and intriguing. I enjoyed Autumn and Ember a lot as they were completely different people who had their own issues about romance but in business, they were in sync more than anything. What got to me was the sisterly bond between Autumn and Ember. It was strong and unshakable yet both sisters also were their own person as well. I loved how they propped one another up and gave each other something they needed, be it a rousing pep talk or just a hug after a bad day. With each page I was charmed even more as the secondary characters continued the story along that had me glued to the pages till the very end.Ms. Foster delivers a perfect beach read this summer wit h a story filed with hope and promises, love and family and more for the reader to discover. If you enjoy this author’s past books, you will enjoy THE SOMERSET GIRLS just as much. This can be read as a standalone story and is one of those perfect books to read on a cool summery day or at the beach as waves lap the shore.

This book by Lori Foster deserves more than a 5 star. It was a compilation of woman’s Fiction, Small Town & Romance, wonderfully written, heartwarming, funny & just plain good.Ember & Autumn Somerset inherited their farm land & house from their grandparents and remodeled the house for themselves & their parents house to accommodate their disabled father. Ember & Autumn were total opposites in physical attributes & emotional makeup but they totally loved & supported each other. Autumn was in home design & Ember in construction.Rash Ducker recently moved back to Sunset, KY with his 7 year old sweetheart of a daughter Sadie after his divorce. Autumn has had a crush on Tash since they were in HS together & was surprised to see him return to his hometown. Autumn had recovered from being jilted by her fiancé & Ember had gone through a devastation some time ago & still hadn’t come to grips with it. Both girls were trying to move on with their lives & repair their relationship with their parents but you’re going to have to read this book to find out how they were able to turn their lives around & end up with a HEA story.You’ll laugh at the animal antics going on accompanied by Pavlov their dog. I laughed & cried. I highly recommend this book to anyone whi reads Woman’s Fiction & Contemporary Romance.

Love this book it takes you to a place far away from your hectic life and leaves you happy and full of happiness.

I loved this book, relatable characters, strong story lines, and happy ever after ending, what's not to love??
