Sturdy without being hard. Maintains shape.Easy store, easy use, easy clean...IF you have neck, shoulder, hip and/or back...these have helped us.

Takes some getting used to, but wow does it work! I use this for my back and hips and it really rolls out the kinks and stiffness. It does hurt when you first start, and the tighter your muscles are, the more it hurts. But if you stick with it, it doesn't take much before the pain of stiffness goes away. I use it for about 30 seconds 4-5 times a day when my back or hips get tight and I am better in 2-3 days. A lot cheaper than physical therapy or massage appointments and can be used in the comfort and privacy of your home. Was recommended to me by my brother who has several in multiple lengths. I have since purchased 2 in different lengths and recommended these to several friends and family.

I like the roller, but as the description says, it is so 'high density' that it hurts my back. I'm using a soft throw blanket over it so I can feel comfortable using it.
