So these are definitely my go to bathing suit bottoms. Soft abd comfortable but also stretchy enough to hold in the tummy. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs and large is perfect. I like that they are high-waisted and stay put when they're wet. So far no problem with fabric rolling down and I have a pool so they've been worn almost every day since I got them. There are NO built in panties nor a liner which I wasn't sure about at first...but no worries there either. I seldom wear the bottoms that come with a bathing suit and very pleased with these!

Not that high
Not as high as pictured. I have a short waist and they came just over my belly button. I saw a bunch of comments that said to size up but in my opinion they run large. Material feels nice.

Expensive but does the job
Always find it difficult buying clothes online. Not sure these were worth the price (noticed too late) but they fit well and seem good quality. Yet to swim in them.
