Dragon Ball, Vol. 5

The fun continues as Goku embarks on a quest to find the Dragon Ball his grandfather left him; the four-star ball that was lost after the previous summoning of Shenlong.This volume includes the end of the Strongest Under the Heavens tournament (with a fittingly ridiculous final match) and begins Goku's run-in with the Red Ribbon Army. Goku's assault on their stronghold, 'Muscle Tower' is so video game-esque in its execution that I couldn't help but smile. It looks like the conclusion to that arc will be coming in volume 6. Onward!

Love the comedic fight between Goku and Purple. I wish these Mangas were a little longer,but I always enjoy them so much!

Fantastic.

I'm already a fan of Toriyama's art style, and it's cool to see the origins of such iconic characters. It's not deep, but it's an amusing and quick read, and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the style or just young at heart.

My kid loves these books! He is on volumne 10 and I plan on buying him the whole series. They are hard to find and Amazon makes it very convenient, I have been ordering three at a time and it qualifies for free shipping. If you like anime you will like these!

A great entertaining graphic manga about son goku and his friends. This book is for 12 and up I think.

Great series, absolute classic

First of all, I love the Dragon Ball Universe with all of my heart. I have played all the games, watched all the movies, watched all the anime, read all the manga, and I still want more! :)I thought it would be great to re-buy all of the original DB manga; and check out the good old days of the Z fighters' early development - and life. And boy, was I shocked! The comedy, humor and action is out of this world.Must purchase for die-hard Dragon Ball fans like myself..
