It is great to have this neat little kit in the toolbox. It covers a useful range of drill bit sizes. The collars are easy to use with securing screws on opposite sides - and it comes with a handy Allen key. Quality seems pretty good - they are well finished and fit the drill bits accurately without any sloppiness and come in solid clear plastic container with a hinged lid.

I bought these to use on my caravan floor so needed to be sure the drill would stop at a certain depth. The rings appeared simple to use and felt like they were made from durable metal. That is where the positives stop, on doing the first hole I found the ring I installed moved luckily before going to deep. I took the ring off and checked the instructions to make sure I had installed correctly, I had so I tried again. Same issue, I then tried to screw the grub screw in as right as possible to stop the movement. It worked for one or two holes and then moved again. I finished the job in the end but I ended up resetting the ring every two drills or so.

These are great little devices. Stick them on the drill bit and you have the perfect depth stop

I had to make a lot of pilot holes for a project I was working on, 86 in total. I prefer using these to the masking tape trick. The collars fit snuggly and securely and I found it saved me time and my mental faculties not having to concentrate on drilling too deep for 86 pre-drilled holes.

Very useful for consistent drill depth.

Sizing was relatively good on these, i found the grub screw tends to slip on the drill bit but electrical tape sorted it for a temp fix
