Q: Are these waterproof like the hot, non-breathing CS version?

Keith - the shoes feature Gore-tex waterproof protection, yet I've not had issues with my feet being hot on walks of 5-7 miles in 85-90* heat. I live in Northern AZ at 5,200 ft and I have two pair of these shoes due to fit, comfort and ease of synching the shoes to ensure a snug fit.
