Loved this documentary because it has a bit of a romantic tone about the end of an era and the changing of the old Wild Wesr. But it also doesn't try to hide the other side of Butch, Sundance, and the rest of the Wild Bunch who were, after all, criminals.The film makes great use of photos, maps and newspaper articles to give the viewer a timeline and roadmap of Butch and Sundance's lives and careers both before and after they got together, so their stories are easy to follow. This wouldn't be over the heads of kids who might want to watch.Finally, it does NOT get into all the conspiracy theories about Butch and Sundance surviving the shoot-out in Bolivia (or even if the "two gringos" that were killed was even them) so if you want that part of the story, look elsewhere.

Saw this years ago on PBS - I really enjoyed it then. Happy I could find it at Amazon to watch again. Excellent biography to watch of both men.

I lived in Durango, Colorado in 1969 when this way filmed there. After this movie came out it was added to All Time Favorites List and is probably #One there.
