meh. buy something else.
That's pretty much the last time i take a recommendation from Amazon sight unseen. We have a pretty regular "game night" around here, ages 22-30, and we have enjoyed quite a few games, both drinking and sober, and I'll say this: the vikings would be disappointed. We tried this game both while drinking and while sober, and both times it sort of stank. It's a large collection of poor sexual innuendo, simplistic interface, and unchallenging gameplay. You're supposed to secretly pick one of four products, then select one of several slogans to advertise that product, read it aloud, and the other players guess what you are advertising. Unless one or more of your players has had a partial/full lobotomy, there's not much challenge to it. We quit about 1/3 of the way through when drinking (and i got chastised for bringing such a lame game to the party) and when sober we decided after a few questions that we'd be better off with Pictionary. So there you go.

The slogans themselves are great for a laugh and then trying to match them ...
This is one of the funest (should be a word) games we've played in some time. We literally could not stop playing on Christmas today. I haven't heard my family laugh that loud in a long time. The slogans themselves are great for a laugh and then trying to match them up with various products is a fantastic concept. It's a great game for people who enjoy Balderdash, SmartAss, What?, the Name Game, etc.It is a bit "riskay", but so long as it's people over the age of 16, it's fine. Now I just need to find a "booster" pack to keep things fresh for a very long time. Buy without ANY hesitation!

Laughed til my sides hurt!
This is a game for adults who can laugh at sexual innuendos...not that the game itself is sexually-explicit at all. But the game wouldn't be nearly as much fun if you take the topics seriously. Let your imagination roam and try to think of how the OTHER person will answer the question. No alcohol needed for this game to be a riot! Gameplay is super-easy to learn but of no educational value whatsoever, inappropriate for children or adults who are offended by sexual humor (they just don't get it). That said, I haven't laughed so hard in years.

A fun adult party game
My Wednesday gaming group has been playing Adversity for a couple of years now. Yes, there is sexual innuendo, but our group consists mostly of adult males age 30 and up, so we didn't have any objection to it. Adversity reminds me of the game Dirty Minds. This might not be a game to play with the kids, but if you're looking for something different to spice up your game night, give this a try and keep an open mind. Just remember, when it's someone else's turn, you're trying to match what they think is the best answer.

Hilarious, Adult party game
Very fun party game that it definitely for adults (as you'll discover, there's lots of innuendo in advertising slogans!). The game might not be the most challenging or competitive, but it is fun, which is what I think makes it a great party game!I actually met one of my best friends when I brought this game to work one day... after work, we played for awhile and were laughing so hard our sides hurt. The game is a little dirty, but it's only as dirty as your mind makes it (which is part of what makes it so funny)-- it uses real advertising slogans and real products, and it's amazing how mixing and matching those can bring about such hilarity. When you ask people to defend their slogan choices, the game can spark some hilarious conversations as well.

Caution - This is truly an ADULT game.
After reading some very positive reviews about this game, I purchased a copy thinking it would be another great party game along the lines of Apples to Apples or Beyond Balderdash. Unfortunately, Fundex took the low road in using sex-related, double meaning, dirty, trashy humor on more than just a few of the product and ad slogan cards. When I sit down to play a board game with my family, I don't expect to be subjected to the same filth we too often find in other forms of entertainment. Sorry to rant, but if you are looking for something clean, look elsewhere.
