DEPENDABLE STRENGTH. This step bumper hitch is rated for 5,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 500 lbs. tongue weight (limited to lowest-rated towing component).
VERSATILE DESIGN. For a wide variety of towing options, this bumper hitch receiver equips your truck with a standard 2-inch x 2-inch hitch receiver. It can accept a ball , cargo carrier, bike rack, tow hook and much more.
FULLY TESTED. This bumper hitch design is tested at our Detroit engineering facility according to SAE J684 standards for the utmost safety and reliability while towing.
RUST, CHIP, UV-RESISTANT. This hitch bumper receiver is protected with a dual-coat finish of rust-resistant A-coat and highly durable black powder coat. The two finishes are co-cured for exceptional resistance to rust, chipping and UV rays.

This CURT receiver-style bumper hitch accepts a 2" x 2" ball shank and can tow up to 5,000 lbs. of gross trailer weight and 500 lbs. of tongue weight. This makes the bumper hitch a great choice for hauling many smaller types of trailers, including boat trailers, utility trailers, popup campers and more. It should be noted, however, that the weight carrying capacity is always dependent on the bumper's weight capacity rating. CURT bumper hitches come with a gloss black powder coat finish and provide a simple towing solution. They easily bolt onto the bottom of a step bumper on a pickup truck or SUV and offer a lower hitch point to provide level trailer towing. Each model comes complete with ing hardware and safety chain hookups.
