Fantastic keyboard and battery life but a little pricey!
I wanted to buy this keyboard for about a year but I always said "there is no way I am paying that much for a keyboard". However declining health and many many months of convincing myself to just go for it. I decided to and I wish I did it sooner. It was annoying mind you, that when I did buy it. It was on sale which is what really pushed me to. As it was a much better price then but then damn it, it dropped again in price a week after I bought it. I love the product so much though that I didn't care too much. I am typing on it right now and it's so nice. The weird thing is, I thought I would have to get used to typing on it as quite often that is the case with keyboards. With this one...nope! for some reason I can just type really well on it straight away. I did a typing test and I got close to 100wpm which I know isn't the best but it was better than I thought it would be lol especially considering I just got the keyboard. So I was happy about that too. The biggest thing about this that makes me happy though is that it's low profile, and much lower keycaps than standard keyboards. I absolutely love this. I think most keyboards make your wrists bend too much and your hands go too high. This is main reason I wanted this keyboard. I also told myself if I am going to spend this much money on a keyboard I will go wireless this time and hey it's 2022 I think wireless has caught up now and it's generally quite good but there is more with this one. It uses Logitech's Lightspeed, which is just heaps and bounds better than standard wireless devices and blue tooth. Highly recommended! Oh, did I also mentioned the volume wheel! Nope, not yet I didn't well let me tell you about that. Yeh it's something minor but wow do I love this thing. It's so convenient and easy. I can never go back to pressing buttons to increase and decrease my volume again. This thing is just much more efficient and feels nice. It's just super easy to use and just generally better. Of course you have your media keys too, which is awesome. I replaced my keyboard one time and I came from one with media keys to one without and you really do miss them so I am glad I have them again and this device has them and they are great. You can do so much more with this keyboard too via the software, macros etc but I never tend to need anything like that. What I will say though, the battery life...wow!! So I got a mouse too, also logitech and both these devices last so long it's crazy! Most the time I don't have to charge the device until a month or two later. It's honestly incredible! You can also customise all the lightning effects, you know the usual that people seem to be obsessed with but not me. I don't give a monkeys about any of that. Though it's there for those of you who do like it so have at it. Highly recommended!

A good TKL wireless keyboard
The G915 TKL is a rather good wireless gaming keyboard. The keyboard has so much potential to be the best in the market however a few aspect has been found wanting. If you read on to this review you'll see there are good bits for every area but each one comes with a "this is good, but". The keyboard is well built. I have the white TKL version and I have to say the metal finish, the white keys make it a very beautiful keyboard. Using the volume scroll is so satisfying. The keyboard is very thin, and that is not a advantage, but a downside of the keyboard. This will be the most wobbly mechanical keyboard you ever going to get. If you look at the picture I shown, in order to make it as thin as possible, logitech chose not to use the standard cherry key. The problem with this key they design is that it's not stable at all. All the keys are wobbly/shaky and does not feel good when typing. The software has little to no bugs compare to other gaming company software I used. But Logitech Gaming Software is not user friendly. The keyboard has 12 G keys (F1 to F12) for you to program your macros. It also offers onboard memory. The onboard memory gives you ability to save your RGB lighting, but does not let you save your macros on the onboard memory. If you switch it to Onboard memory mode, you cannot bind macros, only some windows hotkeys. This is a very strange design, why not let people bind macros on the G keys? The plus side is it lets you save your RGB lighting. I believe razer does not offer RGB on board memory. Again, another but, it's a hassle to set it up until you learn how to do it due to it not user friendly at all. Most people on the internet does not know how to do it and if google G915 onboard freestyle profile, a lot of people will say there is no such function. I'm running 2022.06.271036. In order to get it to work, you need to: 1) Create a custom profile, then go to go to Lightsync. 2) Go to Freestyle, and add a new freestyle. Setup your RGB lighting. 3) Go back to Preset, and select your new freestyle in the effect box. 4) Go to setting, turn on onboard memory mode. 5) In the M1 slot, select the new profile you just made, TWICE!! (You need to select it twice for it to work). You can bind 3 different freestyle in M1 M2 M3 slot but again, this is lame to do something that simple. The strongest area of this keyboard is the battery. I don't know how but logitech somehow manage to put some magic into this thing so you only need to charge it once a month, absolutely crazy. The keyboard also comes with dual wireless mode. One using wireless dongle, another using blutooth. The function is really good as I use different PC but same peripherals for my work and gaming. With this function I can switch between the two with ease. This should be industrial standard. My conclusion is the keyboard is ok to have. The problem is the current market does not have a gaming keyboard that has everything in a package (bug free software, complete onboard memory functions, easy to use lighting, good build quality). This could be it, such a wasted potential.

A joy to use.
Ok, so it's a lot of money for a keyboard. But I use one for most of the day. For work, playing games, or email, domestic bookkeeping etc. (Or, indeed, writing Amazon reviews!) And I think it was worth the investment so far. It is definitely the best keyboard I've ever used. The build quality/styling is amazing. Such a solid feel to it. I did try the full-sized version with the numeric pad, but the extra 'function' keys on the left hand side annoyed me like crazy and made touch-typing almost impossible. Especially if you also regularly have to use a 'normal' keyboard for work. The small version is much nicer imo. It's actually handy to have something a little more compact on a crowded desktop. So far I've missed not having a numeric pad about three times. All while using spreadsheets. I suppose I could clutter my desktop up again with an external numeric pad; but I really doubt I'd use it more than a few times a year anyway. Other features are also pretty useful at times, and show some thought has actually gone into it. + The key action is really satisfying. + Switching between lightspeed and Bluetooth basically means I can use it simultaneously with computer and laptop. + The game mode button stops you irritatingly pressing stuff you don't want to (and this isn't just for games). + The media buttons are actually pretty useful. Something I've never bothered with on other keyboards. Using the volume control is just somehow really satisfying; it's a far better to use that it looks in the pictures. + Two levels of adjustable height for the back. + There's all sorts of clever stuff it can be set up to do with function keys and multiple configurations and macros and so on. I haven't even looked into all that; I just want something to type on in the normal way. But I guess to someone wanting such things they can be really handy. Is it perfect? Unfortunately not. There is still definitely room for improvement. - No doubting it; it's noisy. Look; if you've spent all that money on the thing - surely you'll want everyone else nearby to know about it, right? ;) - Only the letters / primary functions of keys are illuminated. This means in a room which isn't really well lit all the shifted characters (which are darkish grey on black) are practically invisible. Let's just hope 'tilde' is where I expect it to be... - Micro USB charge socket. Really? In 2021? - I did have some problems with the connection until I moved all my USB stuff around. Now it works flawlessly, but only after spending some money and considerable time getting the right USB devices in the right places. - I wish it had simple support for more than 1 Bluetooth connection. Yup; too many PCs and laptops in use in here. ~ They keys do actually feel rather loose if you wiggle them. This is the first mechanical keyboard I've owned, so it may be the same for all of them. For 'normal typing' this isn't a problem, though. ~ I also had a problem with the battery only charging to 80% after a few months. But on contacting support and going through the usual check list of irrelevant-sounding 'fixes' it turned out that it really WAS the source of USB power I was charging it from. An eat-humble-pie moment for me. But at least it was resolved quickly. Overall I'd definitely recommend it so someone who, like me, spends a lot of time using a computer keyboard to earn their living, for entertainment, and/or keep in touch with people.

Solid mechanical wireless keyboard
I bought this keyboard when I changed jobs to one that would require me to bundle my laptop into a bag and take it to an office occasionally. I've found previously that my hands hate me if I type for long periods on a laptop keyboard, so I wanted a high quality keyboard. I also wanted one that would fit into my laptop bag easily - hence the TKL decision. I'm a software developer, so I'm typing fairly continuously, plus I play games over the weekends sometimes, and wanted something that'd do that, too. This does fit in my bag - though it's surprisingly heavy, it's also fairly slim. There are certainly smaller keyboards, but few with a "classic" qwerty layout and decent keys - in this case, I find the "low profile" tactile keys have sufficient travel and response for good typing. Gaming is solid too. I mostly run this keyboard on Linux for work; I use the dongle and it's all good. Media keys, etc all work well. The Linux software (Solaar) doesn't give you a useful battery readout, it only tells you the battery voltage in mV, which isn't tremendously useful. Also you can't control the lighting; I just use the onboard setting for that. On Windows, the software works fine for me for the most part, but the lighting does go weird and blinky when the keyboard is in standby (it turns off fully when it goes to sleep). That said, I really don't use the software for much at all beyond telling me the battery level. Battery life is impressive - I find it lasts me more than a week, and while it's micro USB instead of USB-C, that's not the end of the world. I've not really tried the Bluetooth on it. The main downsides to it are that it cannot share a USB dongle with the other Lightspeed products - I have a mouse, and of course the price. The price is absolutely ridiculous. But you know what? I paid it, and I'm now eyeing up the non-TKL version to live permanently at my desk. I must be mad.

Almost the perfect keyboard
After the UK went into lockdown in 2020 I wanted a single keyboard I could use with both my work laptop and my gaming PC without the need to swap a dongle/cable between the devices or without having to use Bluetooth when connected to my PC. Out of nowhere Logitech release this masterpiece. I was a little hesitant given the £200 price tag at launch but I can say with 100% certainty it was well worth the money. At the time I couldn't find another device that covered my very specific criteria set (Mechanical, TKL, multiple device support, backlit, not Bluetooth for PC). I've been battering this keyboard for at least 8 hours 5 days a week, usually longer if I can get a couple hours gaming in in the evenings or weekends and its stood up very well! The keycaps are showing some smooth spots now but I'd say my use case is probably a little more extreme than what Logitech intended. Keycap clips do seem a little flimsy so I wouldn't go removing the caps regularly and because they are low profile I'm a little concerned about how easy getting replacements would be. Connectivity wise this been great. Having the ability to quickly swap between the lightspeed wireless connection in my PC and Bluetooth for my work laptop has been great. Lightspeed is very reliable and I've not noticed any latency/drops. Bluetooth is Bluetooth. I've not had any issues with key rollover like I've had with cheaper Bluetooth keyboards in the past but occasionally I have to flick to lightspeed and back again to Bluetooth to get it to connect. I believe this is more an issue with my laptop however as it has several Bluetooth devices connected so your mileage may vary depending on how many other devices you use on the same device. Battery is also pretty solid. With the backlight set to max brightness static colour and a 50% fade followed by full backlight off after about 20 seconds I get about 3-4 days. This is with 8 hours 'office' use on BT followed by ~2 hours gaming on Lightspeed. Turning the backlight down even just one level makes a big difference. Wouldn't recommend full off however unless you are going for the stealth look. I genuinely cannot recommend this keyboard enough. For anyone who has to work in the same space they game this a no brainer. You will absolutely get value for money out of it and you can extract even more if you make use of the macro functions in G Hub. I don't use these at all for gaming but they make typing up emails or documents with standard wording a doddle.

Great compact and responsive keyboard
This is great keyboard, and I really like the overall typing experience, although I would of preferred a more clicky key with a little bit more travel. Its a personal preference thing though. Anyway, the pros: - Thin and compact but very sturdy - no flex, full metal body. lovely feel to it - The lights are bright! but i prefer to set it to the lowest setting (still visible in daylight) to preserve battery life - very responsive, no perceptible lag for my games, this is via both bluetooth and lightspeed connections. - Easily switch between lightspeed connection (my Razer laptop) and bluetooth (my ipad pro) - fast wake up times, unlike my MS designer mouse which when asleep takes 2-3 secs to connect, this device connects instantly (sub 1 sec). - Long battery life - haven't tested this properly but i havent charged it in two weeks of light usage and games. Now the cons: - Charges via micro usb! - WHY! - i have to have a micro usb cable available just to charge this....please make the next one usb c..... - to change light patterns require the memorisation of a combination of button presses - would have preferred a dedicated key for this - no way of setting a custom light pattern /layout unless you use the desktop app to configure it. if you use it on a tablet or mobile device then you're stuck. Overall a really nice, light, strong and capable keyboard. It has a mechanical keyboard feel but doesn't match my larger keyboards for typing feel but that is to be expected though as this is a slim line keyboard.

9.5/10 Overall great
so I've been needing a mechanical low profile keyboard for awhile and after searching for high quality ones from name brands I settled with this one only because of its a. tkl and tactile variant and b. the high actuation points on the keys while it's not customisable which would have been nice it has a whole array of different things you can edit and choose in the software like programmable keys and Marcos so you can open applications or do things in applications without opening them Manuely but you can't mention versatility without mentioning the size because the number pad has been removed its alot easier to carry and store plus if your on the go it has a dongle space underneath the keyboard so you don't lose It I also like it solid steel base and there's no deck flex so even if you tried to bend it you can't the media keys are also quite convent I don't ever feel the need to swap to my tab playing youtube to turn the sound down The brightness levels of the rgb is quite good and it definitely shines in dark places with 16.8 million colours and multiple designed and even infinite designs if you get the app and use community ones or you could even make your own the Bluetooth is quite convenient also if your just trying to use it but your too lazy to put in the dongle or maybe the dongle is in but you want to save charge by putting it in bluetooth I also love the onbored memory profiles as there superconvenient if your on a friends computer but with your keybored but I think what helps even more is when you logitech g app hasn't even launched and you have all of your Windows keybinds ( not app specific keybinds) but I thing I don't like is how specific you have to put back a keycap if you decide to take it out and out of the box if you were to shake it it would rattle alot which and when compared for a speed test with the dongle and wired they come out to the ms and its under 15 which is amazing that's faster then some wired keyboards quick mention the kickstand has two adjustable heights which I think is really nice unfortunately no arm rest but I think the kickstand makes up for it overall it has minor things I don't like but it's still amazing

The worst key caps of all time
Don't buy this Logitech G915 TKL Tenkeyless, it's really bad and it's feels cheap compared to the other keyboards who worth 60$ the keycaps are really poor quality and it's move around like a cheap keyboard! keycaps hard to pull it off and you might break the key spot!! it's have poor sound quality when you click it also you won't be able to return the product because they won't let you do that they will force you to do self shipped on this product once It didn't meet your expectation and this happened to me and they didn't solve the problem after I found out the keyboard it's seems cool in the reviews but in reality the keycaps hard to pull it off and you might break the key spot!! it's really bad amazon do this to there customers even THE SELLERS are awful!!!

Read before buying!!
The keyboard glitched with auto typing on some buttons after 2 months of purchase. Later on, keys started breaking one by one. After nearly 9 months of use, 3 keys broke. Really shocked of a performance of such expensive German brand!! Highly not recommended!!!
