Better than I hoped for!
Ok, this is a review based on early use. I had the unit installed under the sink and the filters flushed in about 45 min. The installation was smooth as could be. Zero leaks. And they even send a couple extra common parts and a extra set of O rings for the canister filters. The manual could not of been done better. Concise and in wording. ( i am a maintenance tech and see manuals that are so bad you can not sense of them and get a headache trying to. So I had the filters flushed and filled the tank for the inital fill. From opening the box ( beautifully packaged btw! ) to drawing my first glass of water ( after 4 tank flushes ) took appx 7 hrs, and the water taste better than my old trusty zerowater. Not only do i have pure drinking water I have pure water to run in my humidifiers that WILL NOT leave white mineral powder behind Quality of the unit 10 of 10 Manual and ease of setup/install flawless Ease of use and taste of filtered water perfect. I would recommend and would buy again. As a bonus the filters are very easy to replace when the time comes

Inexpensive, Easy to Install, DELICIOUS water
So I'm not much of a handyman, and anyone who's seen my reviews in the past will know this, but this system was very easy to install, works flawlessly, and provides us some of the best water we've ever tasted. Took me about 2 hours to install, and the only reason I have given it less than a perfect rating is because the cheap water faucet they provided has already begun leaking and replacing it will be around 70 bucks. Other than that, this unit is superb and I'd by another.

User-friendly, Easy Installation - Very Well Thought out (btwm from 420ppmdown to 5ppm and dropping!!!)
There are a lot of glowing reviews on this item, so I won't repeat details but I will mention something that really impressed me with this product -- This is one of the most well thought out packaging of a product I have seen in terms of making it easy on the installer. A few highlights: 1. The filter manifold comes assembled and connected. You screw in 2 elbows (one on each side) and connect hoses to the open connections (drain, faucet, tank, leak-stop device, and water supply. Note there is 1 connection between 2 of the top filters that needs to be made and can easily be missed, though it is color coded. 2. The 3 canisters come loaded with their respective filters installed and wrapped in loose plastic. All you have to do is remove the plastic and screw the 3 lower canisters into the filter manifold and tighten with the supplied wrench. There is no risk of touching and contaminating the filter. 3. All connections use color color-coded hoses with removable "buttons" placed in the quick connect to identify which hose goes where. Just remove the colored "button" and push in the same color hose. Simple. 4. The elbow fittings come wrapped with lots of teflon tape -- One of the biggest issues with plastic plumbing fittings is that they require lots of teflon tape to ensure a leak-free fit (you need to "goop it up" as a plumber friend of mine would say). These come very "gooped up" and while it will take a little bit of effort to screw them in, I can't possibly see these leaking once installed. 4. Floor mount leak-stop device = less worry. It's a pretty effective design, though it uses fabric tabs that expand when wet that will need to be replaced if the system is "tripped". They give you 3 of these to start, though I imagine if you go through all 3 you have bigger problems than getting new tabs! I had only 1 very small leak (a few drops of water) after install and that was because I didn't push a hose in all the way (user error). TDS dropped from 420 ppm down to 5ppm and Ph from 8.4 to 7.0!!!. So far so good.

Very Happy
I have had this installed for just over 60 days now and run on average 5-10gallons of water per day through it. I am very happy, water incoming is 250-300ppm tds, out was zero for quite a while, today reading only 3 ppm still. Even just averaging 7 gal per day for 60 days that means this unit has given me over 420 gallons of purified water already. I was paying 50 cents per gallon to refill 5 gallon bottles before. So this unit is quickly reaching ROI and will do so well before filter replacement is required. The convenience is also not being factored. There is much value in not carrying 5 gallon jugs around to refill at the store, my back is very happy with the change. I have done filter jugs like brita and zero, they never ROI, make much trash, and aren’t very convenient. This unit I had installed in 2-3 hours. It’s easy but requires attention to detail and a little pride in your work to do a good job. You could probably do it faster but take your time and so it well. Don’t trust any of the factory connections out of the box, they will leak. Undo them all and reseat them all yourself. If you do this you should be fine. Expect leaks the first time you open up the system so be prepared to stop the source and soak up water. The water this provides is excellent. For the cost and convenience I am very happy to have this system.

nice kit, does a good job... needs a more robust output tho.
overall this is a nice kit, includes everything you need for an easy install, and does a good job with producing clean water. if all you want is the stock faucet, then it's got everything you need. The multiple cartridges on top of the unit are all positioned from the factory with their writing upright, but since they all have the same flow directions when reading the labels, that also means there is a lot of excess, unnecessary piping looping around behind the cartridges. It's not necessary to have all the labels in upright orientation, and you can really clean up the system and remove extra piping by flipping one or more of the cartridges, so that the output of one and the input of the next are next to each other. less piping also helps to reduce friction and pressure drop in the system. Take the time to rearrange the cartridges into a more logical flow, and get rid of all the extra pipes, before you install it. If you are like me, or many other folks, you want more than JUST the stock faucet. You might want to connect this to your fridge ice maker, or as I did, to an under-sink hot water maker, and a Delta Glass Rinser. That requires a few extra pieces. The connection on top of the tank out of the box has both the feedline and the faucet line, which requires the tank to build up the pressure and depending on your city service pressure, the actual water flow during demand could be from the feedline OR the tank, or both simultaneously. If you want to build a manifold on top of the tank to serve multiple faucets and things, you will need to think about your install and make a few visits to your local Home Depot. it's not overly difficult to build a nice manifold to serve multiple things, and this system is very capable of handling several downstream things. I have no trouble feeding my glass rinser and an open-vent style hot water maker. Also, if you have a basement under your kitchen, you CAN install this system and hang it from the rafters under your kitchen, freeing up the cabinet space under your sink. You might need to pick up some extra tubing to fit the length you need, but that is pretty easy. You can also mount the filter system and the tank in different cabinets, say if your under-sink cabinet is too small to fit everything. Just try to keep the tubes as short as possible to fit your install needs. one thing I would definitely recommend tho... do not try to build the manifold directly on top of the tank. you will end up with an ugly mess that makes management difficult. Instead, spend a little extra to build a proper manifold system, with each inlet and outlet seperately valved, and attach it to the wall inside the cabinet. That will make maintenance significantly easier, and will allow you to isolate any part of the system without having to de-pressurize the whole thing. A proper manifold also allows you to expand to additional faucets easily without having to disassemble the whole system.

Very happy with system.
I had been wanting a RO/DI ststem for a while. I keep aquariums and plants that require very pure water. The water from out of the tap is over 400μS. This system took it down to between 5-7. If you have very hard water like I do you may want to get a whole house filter as well for pre treatment(this will be my next project) , but this does do a great job of cleaning the water without one. The installation on a stainless kitchen sink took about an hour. Hardest part was drilling a hole in the steel for faucet, and that took about two minutes with a step drill or knockout punch. The system is pre assembled all you have to do besides installing the faucet is drill a hole in the waste water pipe and match up the tubes to the right color. If you want you can save the wate water for other purposes and skip installing the waste water saddle. Water tastes great as well. There are different upgrades you can purchase separately as well. I do wish they had a 200gpd RO membrane that is the only fault I have found so far. Had it installed for about a month. The fact this is reverse osmosis and deionized at the price point cannot be beat.

Worth the investment
We got this filter because we daughter ourselves spending so much money on water bottles and filling up our gallons. It was easy to install. The water quality is great. It really does taste like really good filtered water.
