2nd pair of Carhartts like this (have them in the olive green too) I wear and wear and wear and wear these. Perfect phone pocket on right thigh, perfect reading glasses (or sunglasses) pocket on the left. You will wear them for years, into softness.

I'm so glad I discovered these comfy and TOUGH Carhartt work pants. I've given up on most brands. All the details dial right in, zippers, pockets, the ability to bend over easily, it's all here. I've set aside one set of these pants to keep pristine, and a second set to wear hard, come what may. I don't know why my favorite colors 1-Chocolate Brown, and 2-Midnight go out of stock so quickly, both in their own retail stores and on Amazon. (?) At least 3-an excellent dark Black tends to stay in stock, always. I would love to buy the color 4-Dark Forest Green. Please spare me the tiresome colors Khaki, Olive, camouflage, and anything pastel, for all time. These garments are made with love; they are sublime.

Listen. I put on these Carhartt pants and instantly understood what it feels like to be a man named Hank who can fix a carburetor with one hand while grilling a steak with the other. The second the fabric touched my skin, I swear I heard a distant chainsaw rev and a bald eagle screeched somewhere in the sky. These pants have me walking around like I’m on an episode of “Alaska: The Last Frontier” even though I’m literally just going to Walgreens. The pockets?? I could fit: • my phone • my wallet • three emotional support snacks • a small child • and the burden of all my responsibilities …in ONE pocket. Women’s pants could NEVER. Since buying these, I have: • chopped wood I didn’t need to chop • stared down a bear (it ran first) • fixed a tractor I do not own • become the main character of every Home Depot commercial • felt spiritually connected to the forest • achieved inner peace They’re warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and somehow make me feel like I could fistfight Mother Nature and win. Do they give me a tiny-waist, rectangle-hips vibe? Sure. But do I look UNSTOPPABLE? Absolutely. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone who wants to feel invincible, mysterious, mildly dangerous, and capable of surviving the apocalypse with nothing but these pants and a multitool.

I bought Carhartt work dungarees since I wanted durable pants I could use for snow blowing, cutting the grass, and doing other work around the house. I also am a teacher, so I need pants that will look good for me in school. These pants sure are just right for outdoor work and school. What I like is the back pockets are nice and large. My over-sized wallet fits perfectly. The front pockets are big enough and sturdy enough to hold everything you want to put inside. The other benefit is that since they are work dungarees, the pockets are designed to carry all sorts of items in them without getting holes in them. I am a physically larger person and these pants actually make me look good. They fit really well. The best part is that when you bend, stretch, or pick up something you aren't going to have a blow out on the side of the pants or in the crotch area. I just wish I had purchased these about ten years ago. There are also added side pockets for tools or whatever you want. The material is great and also the pants fit a bit loose, which I like. The material doesn't chafe you, but you can tell it can stand up to wear and tear. If you are a hard-on-clothing sort of person, then buy these pants. You won't regret it.

Material and sewing quality excellent. I also applaud the wide size choices which helps overcome the fact that the waist sizes run small but the legs are bigger than you’re used to as they are made for work not fashion, so the legs are large to fit over boots. Now, maybe I have no right to judge harshly because I used them to make tin pants which makes getting into pockets more difficult anyway but imo, the pockets are tight and too few by a lot. I was going to order the higher priced and highly lauded Carhartt model work pants for another set of tin pants but no way now. Also, I found the sizing was difficult to determine accurately with Rufus advising that the legs would be loose fitting and the waist tight. He was right and I should have returned them for a different size waist but then the legs would have been huge. Now I’ll look for 100% cotton somewhere else (Wranglers? Match?). I can’t be the only guy who values pocket size, quantity and predictable sizing.

Always like this style it’s baggy that goes over your boots, as I m not tall I had it trim at the bottom and I happened to be in Jakarta and had it done on sidewalk’s ‘Permak Levi’s’ they do all wonders and make a fit to your body. I had to add an inch to the waist only cost me US$ 2 and to shorten the bottom $.80cents while in Australia it ll cost $24 not to mention they ll charge at least $100 to add an inch to the waist

These are the work pants that my husband needed. They fit well. His legs are protected from the element’s, keeping him warmer in -35 weather. The pant material holds up and protects against concrete flooring and the rough work surfaces he faces. The loose fit gives him enough room to bend, twist, crawl and climb as needed. They are good work pants. Worth the price; if you need pants that work as hard as the person who wears them.
