My husband and I were delighted to receive this book as a baby shower gift. It has places to keep track of a great balance of life and faith milestones for the child, all the way through second grade! It is very encouraging to see the example of saints on each page, and the milestones charted also help a child to have goals to look forward to, such as "Are you learning to share your toys?" for the 4th year milestone. I also like the variety of life milestones such as "Poem we really liked?" (also 4th year). It is attractively illustrated and very well written. It is a very joyful book to read and we look forward to completing it for our baby.I highly recommend this book! In fact, buy a few so you have one for each of your children, even if they are yet-to-be-born. Thank you Conor and Chris! Job well done. A Catholic milestone book was very needed... you've filled a niche.

This terrific book is much more than a baby book - it's truly an opportunity to document your child's life from womb through First Reconciliation. Brightly colored, adorably illustrated (in a non baby-ish way that young children will love) and including information on several saints, this will be a book both you and your child will treasure. The book contains a year by year entry through the 7th year of your child's life which included favorites, milestone information, but also a documentation of spiritual growth. The book ends with information on preparing for your child's first reconciliation and an entry where your child can recount that special sacramental experience in his or her own words. I wish it would also have included a similar page for First Holy Communion. A terrific gift - great even if you have a toddler or young child!
