Good runner.
I bought the cheapest model I could find which happened to be the Conrail road name which was good for me. Out of the box the model looked good on initial inspection. I put the snowplow on with some difficulty. I personally think they should be added at the factory. I put about 12 cars on and it pulled with no problem. For the price for a ready to run DC engine I highly recommend this.

Great Loco - but packaged horribly by Sender
This locomotive by Walthers is great and the price can't be beat. I'm not sure which company actually packaged this for shipment but it was only shipped in the original box (not put inside of another box for safe shipment). Just a shipping label was slapped on the loco's box. This is terrible service and the box was beat up when it arrived. Luckily the locomotive survived without damage. I would be careful who you buy this great little loco from for this reason.

Lights turn on but doesn’t run and box and horn came broken
I have BNSF and it works fine my sister bought the on dec Canadian pacific and it didn’t work just the light came on so I decided to buy conrail both turn the lights but both doesn’t work I don’t know what to do doesn’t work just lights on sad truly is a nice thing but don’t run
