I had no idea such a tool existed and I am incredibly thankful I came across it on Amazon! I have been using this for about 4 days now and it works great! I have had that 'something stuck in your throat' feeling for about 6 months now. No matter how much I coughed, cleared my throat or how much water I drank I could NOT get rid of the feeling. I figured it was just post nasal drop from allergies or something and I was doomed. I had my 6 month dental cleaning and as my dentist was walking out of the room after checking my teeth and x-rays, he said 'oh by the way, you have tonsil stones'. I had NEVER heard of these before. I could not get them out myself because when I got my hand in my mouth to reach my tonsils my hand blocked my view! So as the dentist suggested I went to an ENT. The problem is that the ENT can only remove the stones that he sees at that time. So after two ENT visits at $50 a pop I was determined to figure out how to handle this issue at home. The ENT worked great but then a couple of hours later more stones would come down, I guess once the stones that were in the way were removed, and I did not want to have to pay a $50 co-pay and take time off from work to go to the doctor all the time. I bought this kit after reading the reviews and watching some videos. It works GREAT! I have only had to use the little scooper piece. That works great for me and as I work from home, I can get up and go 'stone fishing' every few hours or as I feel I need it. The light at the end of the tool is good but I really like a bigger light so I use a light my boyfriend has that I can hold in my left hand while I have the scoop tool in my right hand. It's been working great! I usually do not write reviews but I have been so happy with this kit that I decided I HAD to write one as I know I depend on reviews when comparing purchases. If you have tonsil stones and do not feel like having to go to the doctor to get them removed all the time, then this tool is for you! It's VERY easy to use and works great! I highly recommend it and am telling all my friends about it too! The other good thing about this kit is when you read the digital manual they give you a few tips on how to deal with your gag reflex. I have not had any trouble with my gag reflex with this little scooper tool though. Good luck everyone!

This gets the job done! I had a stubborn stone stuck for a few days so I searched Amazon. The reviews are true, the light came in handy and much needed. I was able to remove the stone with the smaller attachment and it came out in three pieces. The wand came with batteries inside and also extra button batteries, so be sure to keep away from children. The tongue scraper is good quality as well. For the price this item is great!! It fits well in your hand and isn’t too heavy. The plastic attachments are very smooth with no rugged edges to irritate your tonsils but still be gentle.

I have never had a tonsil stone in my life but noticed it along with swallowing was different than normal. As a former dental hygienist I felt I could tackle with assurance of what I was dealing with. The light is great and eventually- the tool worked after much gagging! The product comes with multiple sized scoops. The only thing that is worth noting is the scoops are plastic- so make sure to wash and disinfect after use. For 10$ it was worth the price.

10/10 stars if I could, was able to push the stone out after a few gagging attempts. The light on the tool is very very handy. Last time I had a huge stone I had to go to the ER because I was so scared to try it myself, now I can do it on my own without paying a big ol ER charge.

It does the job but the clear attachments on mine suffered from Chinese “quality” control and still had sharp edges on it from when it was molded. It put a small cut on my tonsil and caused it to bleed. I had to take my wife’s fingernail file buffer to it and now they are nice and smooth. The light feature to me is kind of a waste as it’s entirely WAY too bright. Problem with it is you’re putting a white light on a white tonsil stone and it’s a little bit hard to see so I had to end up going back to using a flashlight. Other than those two minor discrepancies, it works fine! The tongue scraper is a nice attachment and I’ve used it several times also.

The light stick ran out of batteries with little use and the screw to replace it is very tiny, phone flashlight works fine to see back there though. The syringe is comfortable, easy to fill if you use a cup though I recommend cleaning it and the tongue scraper with alcohol just to be safe with longevity

I’ve had tonsil stones on and off since a kid and i hate how they make my mouth taste sometimes. Especially when i wake up. I also hate when one randomly comes out and i can taste and feel it on my tongue. I’ve been wanting to find something to help with them for a while. This kit helped get a few small ones out. Mine are pretty deep and my gag reflex is terrible so it was hard getting in there. I also didn’t want to inflame my tonsils. I got the right angle for my tongue and was able to see well and not gag. After washing everything I used the smallest tool and wasn’t able to get anything out. I got warm salt water and sucked it into the syringe tool then shot it right into my tonsil. It didn’t hurt at all like picking at it with Q-Tips or the tool due to going deep. Even though the salt water was unbearable in the back of my throat i was able to get out a good amount of small ones. The tongue scrapper was an amazing add on and i’ve been wanting one for forever! It works amazing and i’m able to get the way back of my tongue where it’s hard for me to get cause i gag so much with a tooth brush. All the white matter coming from the way back was satisfying to get and left my tongue feeling very clean. I would just recommend not doing it too hard or too long. I got carried away and ended up irritating my taste buds. The second time i tried it gentle and not as long it didn’t irritate them at all. I recommend trying this to see how much gunk you get out! Especially with the curved syringe! I’m about to try again and go through all the attachments to see what works the best! Good luck and do research before removing yourself and irritating your tonsils!

I don’t usually write product reviews but I had to on this. Recently I’ve been getting so many tonsil stones but I just couldn’t get them out. I was skeptical about buying this but it was way more gentler than me even using a q tip and got so much more out than I expected just in the first try. Didn’t bleed from any of the pressure like I typically would. Stones that were stubborn and just wouldn’t budge I was able to get out! I like the curved syringe because after using the attachments I used the syringe to flush out wherever I could just to make sure it all cleared. I recommend!

J'ai acheté ce kit Oravix pour venir à bout des problèmes de caséum et je dois dire que c'est un changement radical par rapport aux méthodes galère maison peu hygiéniques. ​Le kit contient différents outils avec des embouts adaptés qui permettent d'atteindre les cryptes des amygdales sans douleur, de plus un support avec une lampe qui permet d'éclairer exactement la où on veut retirer le Caseum c'est super bien pensé, il y a aussi une seringue à jet incurvé particulièrement efficace pour rincer les zones difficiles d'accès. ​Adieu la mauvaise haleine : En éliminant régulièrement le caséum, on sent une différence immédiate sur la fraîcheur de l'haleine, c'est un vrai gain de confiance en soi 🙏🏼 ​C'est un investissement unique, le kit est solide et vous n'avez pas besoin de racheter de consommables sans arrêt. ​ Mon conseil : Prenez le temps de bien lire la notice et allez-y en douceur au début. Une fois qu'on a pris le coup de main, c'est très simple à utiliser. ​C'est un produit indispensable pour ceux qui souffrent d'inconfort au niveau des amygdales. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat !
