Great Detail
Great detail on how to analyze and invest in private syndication deals. It’s heavy on details and numbers so maybe a bit dry but worth the read. In fact I plan on reading it again right away.

Well Organized and Great Read
Enough numbers for a quant jock yet readable for others. Great book for a newly accredited investor looking to consider real estate syndication deals.

Great resource & a must have in your real estate book library
If you are at all interested in investing passively in syndicated real estate deals YOU MUST BUY THIS BOOK!The Hands-Off Investor by Brian Burke is a great resource for walking you through how to analyze and evaluate every aspect of a syndication deal. While not an "easy read" the book provides definitions, examples, and literally walks you through how to compare & understand passive investing. The Hands-Off Investor definitely made the top 3 in my favorite real estate books. Hope you find it as helpful as I did!

The resource for any investor in syndications/private real estate funds
I spent a decade and a half as a commercial lender providing debt to real estate project and syndications. Brian's book is the best investor's guide I've ever seen to being an investor into these projects. Different people will find different value from each of the chapters depending on their experience, but there's something in this book for every investor. The only thing to be aware of as a reader is the book tilts heavily towards multifamily properties on its content. Many of the same principles apply to other commercial property types, but the in depth property analysis and discussion behind income, expenses, and cash flow are based on multifamily.

Excellent Book
Investing in private equity real estate has many benefits and tax advantages, and this book outlines how to successfully take action and build wealth in syndications of multi-family real estate. This book goes over the specifics for both beginner and intermediate investors. Brian does a great job explaining complex concepts in a simple effective writing style.

In-depth explanation from an expert
Phenomenal book, everything you need to know about syndicate investing. I’ve used it as a template while interviewing different syndicates, none have heard of all the questions, which is a bit concerning. Highly recommended.
