These are very well made with quality materials. The appear to be designed to work well. I have placed them around the outside of my home and from the looks of the bait have found all have been "visited." Having two dogs curious over anything new in the yard, I had always feared their getting into any station or trap with poison inside. I feel really confident that these keep the dog out of harm. Very well made, and the design keeps the bait elevated above ground level so, other than some type of flooding, rain shouldn't pose a problem. I highly recommend this product.

The bait is placed on rods that are well above ground level, so if the water table rises for any reason, the bait remains dry and maleable = you need only replace the bait when fully eaten by rodents. The height of the bait does not allow Racoons the leverage necessary to crank the bait (and the associated bait rod) out of the station, destroying the station in the process = replacement costs are a non-issue. All the moving parts are contained within a removeable tray that sets atop a concrete block, and so once you set this monolithic-killing-machine down, it ain't moving (insert Racoon parallel here) = another atta-boy on the cost of replacement category. If mice and rats are bringing you down, and you decide to spend the money on bait stations and the associated supply of rodenticide, then these atations will work well to rid your property of the target pest, while ensuring that the incidental replacement costs are relegated to a distant menory. A good bait station for the money, and well-worth your consideration.

I did not get six stations As ordered only two were sent which ended up costing me a customer because I was unable to deliver in a timely fashion

We had a company come out and put these boxes around our home. This cost us $80 every 3 months. So when we moved and started to notice we may have mice problems(field behind our house). We decided to just buy our own boxes. $106 for 6 boxes. Which we knew they wouldn’t come with bait or traps. So we bought a big tub of them. The boxes do come with cement in them. Which I didn’t know. Haha yeah I left the boxes on the front porch for the the husband. They work great!

Update after a year of using them: I removed the T-Rex traps that I placed inside these boxes. Now, I don’t have to deal with removing rotten dead bodies. I suggest everyone to buy a couple of these. Just one or two won’t solve your problem. Keep restocking bait every month. Also, seal wick holes with iron mesh. Seal bathroom exhausts with iron mesh. Mice can get in even through a hole that is half of your pinky finger’s diameter.Original review: I bought 6 of these and placed them around the house. I also got TRex traps and placed them inside these boxes. I was surprised to see chipmunks and big rats (about 8 inches long from head to end of tail) killed by the traps. I was expecting smaller mice to be eating the bait. But the un-targeted rodents were killed too. I highly recommend these boxes if you are okay with opening them once in 2 to 3 days to remove the bodies of dead rodents killed by TRex traps. Of course, you can use these boxes without the TRex traps. Remember that when you open these boxes, there is a good chance that the animal trapped in the Trex trap is still alive. I got 6 keys too. I tried to use other humane treatments too. But this is an ALL-GUNS blazing solution.

I ordered six of these and one of them came with the hinge on the non-key side broken...I think duct tape will solve this problem though. The keys were all inside each of the locked boxes...so that was tricky to get one of them open to get the key out to then open the rest.Those are my negs, the boxes I think are gonna last as long as the hinges last. The locking mechanism is nice, single key, super easy to unlock.

Two years of four season use. Let’s rodents in but protects bait from other animals. Weighted and Javelina proof. Other larger animals can’t move it to get to bait. Love it and am very happy to have these stations protecting our house and vehicles from rodent damage.

Great. These are much easier to use than the old style ones. these are much stronger in holding your bait. You're able to hold at least up to eight pieces. Comes with its own wait block inside. this is the greatest deal you can find out there. Very strong good quality boxes. Kids dogs any kind of pets even raccoons can get in them. A plus.
