My Zoe loves Solid Gold since we rescued her last November. Huskies are very picky and will tell you what they like. I know she is getting excellent food and quality nutrition. Helps me know that she will be will be with for a long time.

Hi I’ve got an Afghan Hound and a Borzoi they both love this food. Poops are solid and have clean pick up . Sometimes I’ll mix coconut oil in it and sometimes I’ll mix ground beef or chicken as a topper …. My dogs love it!!!

In my experience, venison is very good for dogs with food allergies and/or skin/coat issues. I've been feeding my dogs with venison as the main protein source since the early '90s. Of the various brands I've used in those almost-30 years, Solid Gold is my favorite. (If it's at all helpful to know, my dogs who have thrived on venison have been a full-blooded Chow Chow, a Chow/Sharpei mix, and a "Heinz 57" whose strongest traits seem to be Retriever (Lab and Goldie) and Rhodesian Ridgeback.) Glossy, nice coat, no tummy troubles.When I first adopted the "Heinz 57," he was overwhelmingly stinky and gassy, presumably from the chow he'd been eating. Once I switched him to venison, his digestive issues began to clear up ... and I could breathe again. :-)

I have used Solid Gold wet and dry dog food for nineteen plus years. My Shiba/Pug lived to 18.5 healthy years.Once during a general national recall of dog foods, I called Solid Gold customer service. They professionally (and immediately) took the call and explained that they were not a part of the recall and answered all my questions.I use Solid Gold wet and dry foods exclusively, and my pups have NEVER HAD any digestive issues.

I was paying for science diet, which is almost twice the price and keeps increasing. My dog likes it and he hasn’t had skin or stomach issues since eating it.

I have been buying solid gold venison pumpkin potato dry food fir years with my dogs health exceptional. The new formula with nutrient boost made my Shepard sick. Instead of soothing sensitive stomachs the new formula caused bloody diarrhea. It is expensive dog food and i can no longer return 22lb bag which is still in the box!

Exactly what I wanted, my dog loves it. The only reason it got 4 stars is because they send it such a huge box that the box is always ripped and open when it arrives.
