Good part, not happy with how it is shipped.
We received two Standard Motor Products EGV693 EGR valves in total from Amazon. The first one arrived not packaged well, the inside box appeared banged up and the part may have been a prior return. We only received one gasket with it. My husband put it on our car, it made a terrible noise, so we had to return it. The second one was also packaged poorly and included only one gasket, but this one appears to be working fine so far. I will update immediately should anything change.You will have to take some old parts off of your original EGR valve and put them on this one, but that is how it will be with any EGR valve. Now I am a girl with limited mechanical knowledge, but I did watch my husband do it. It was two rod looking things he had to remove from the original and put on the new one, and a small plate. I am sorry I cannot be more specific. Our only complaint is the way Amazon shipped them, using bubble protection on only two sides. I am giving 4 stars because of this, and because of the time it cost us. Hopefully they will give future parts better protection. This EGR valve was for our 1998 Toyota Avalon, V-6. I hope my review helps!

Also started running like it used to
Put this in my car the other day and the code stopped and my traction control started working again. Also started running like it used to. Pain in the ass trying to put it in and who cares about the other seal. They are metal.
