I bought this for kintsugi, repairing a table lamp that my mother bought in Japan 35 years ago, broken by a rambunctious cat a couple of years ago. The lamp was made from a traditional-style vase and already had gold accents, so this powder mixed with epoxy looked like a good fit. Despite my inexpert job the end result is nice.The powder mixed with the epoxy easily and evenly, and a little went a long way. The color matches the gold glaze on the pottery fairly well--probably would have been a better match when the lamp was newer. The leftover epoxy dried into an attractive surface, with a nice "depth" appearance but good opacity. I plan to use the remaining powder for woodworking inlays.

Looks like the canister wasn’t sealed well, and some of the powder spilled out.
