Poor packaging
Good line and needle but poor packaging. Line is wrapped around a piece of tubing and not a bobbin so it spills out on the sides

No loose ends
This is a back-up kit, as my main ditty bag is aboard, and therefore not always at hand. This met my needs perfectly; good waxed thread, and a good needle. My dock lines are ready for use now, without causing me to be embarrassed as to their loose ends, as they are finished with proper needle whipped bindings :~)

Perfect for my climbing rope
I wanted to both secure the ends of my climbing rope and make them more easily visible/easy to find in my bag (my rope is blue). Worked great for that purpose, using a whipping technique I found online. In a nice bonus, I ran a lighter flame lightly over the whipping and got a bit of fusing of the line. That makes pulling it through an over-torqued figure 8 knot easier. I would have liked other, brighter color options as the white is already getting duller and I'm sure will pick up more dirt over time. But, I bought white so can't fault the product for that. I had no issues with the needle.

but good for whipping
Doesn't hold a knot very well, but good for whipping. I just add a tiny drop of super glue to the surgeons knot I use to finish out a sail whipping, and I don't have to worry about it coming undone. A touch more wax on the line would probably alleviate this problem, as it barely feels like there is any at all.

Great for sail repairs,

Very good product for a great price
This is very strong, both the needle and twine are good quality. Used it to hand stitch some eyes at the end of 11mm rope, they feel very very strong.

Great twine!
Being braided this twine stretches and flexes with your rope, it doesn't build stresses into the splice!

Don't bother
Needle seems to be good quality. The twine is fine. It is white. It's polyester. It's waxed. What seems to be happening here is that the twine is purchased in bulk and then rolled (carelessly) onto smaller "spools" for resale. You will be lucky to get more than 6' of usable product off the spool before it is all knotted up (see some of the pictures... they are accurate). I was able to salvage most of it and wind it (properly) onto a better spool. If you lack that sort of patience you will be very disappointed in this purchase and will be back for a proper spool of twine that was packaged properly for resale in the first place...
