What a game changer
The book picks right up where it left off. Those who doubted Nero, shouldn't have. He is who we thought he was. That said, what he DOES have to say has very big implications that give you a hint to the rest of the book. Nero and Leda are devoted to each other and will always act accordinglyIn this book we get to see Leda back with her friends after being separated last book and their interactions and jokes are as wonderful as ever. Nero gives Leda a gift for when he is away from her that adds solid humor to the story. I also suspect it isn't exactly what we think it is. These interactions are some of the things that make the book stand out for me from others. In this book Ella explores what it means for Leda to be an angel with her unique heritage because as we have seen through out the books, Leda is not like anyone else and that has lots of implications and challenges. There is also an issue as the number of angels at any one time is capped because they have territorial instincts and only one territory was open and there are two newly made angels. We also get Leda's angel name. Now for the plot, I like how Ella plays on our expectations. The dangers seem to be two fold, the strange emotional outbreaks among the Legion solders and the beasts/monsters are acting up. The cause for each were very interesting with huge implications and changes in our character's lives both large and small ways. It also gives more history of the world and the current factions and what some of the power players are up to. I enjoyed watching Leda really grow and come into herself. Her growth over the course of novels has been great and I love the choices she has made about who she wants to be and what she wants to represent. I also loved getting to see more of Nyx and other more powerful characters as Leda approaches their power level. No one is immune to Leda's brand of chaos and influence. As for the end, wow. I'm not sure I'd call it a cliffhanger, but Leda's next mission (and therefore the likely plot of the next book) was assigned to her and WOW. I cannot wait to see how that goes.

Harry Potter for adults - with more fever and fight than flight
Hooray, Leda is back! Discovering the next Legion book is out made my day. Happily, this book lives up to the brilliant series, and may be even better than the last. The gang is back together, returning after their absences in earlier books, with snark and fun.Leda is as great and insubordinate as ever, now catapulted into being a newbie angel/demigod, struggling to fly straight and to avoid being played. Her straight angel counterparts make Leda’s most un-angelic nature even funnier. Make the Angel of Chaos hormonal, and, well, you have this book. It could be called angel fever or fight more than angel flight. The joyful spirit in these books sets them apart. It grabs your attention and is guaranteed to make you smile. This lightness and energy is not lost through the complicated exposition or dark events, as often happens in a long series. While the series is structured based on the angel gift levels, by book 8, it thankfully hasn’t become dry, laboured or drawn out. I mean, what other book would have a monster that is a whale/frog-cross or a hedge? This is one of my favourite series. It has humour, engaging characters, an inventive world, clever magical concepts, powerful romance, depth to the story and characters, triumph, growth and surprises. Plus a kitten. Basically, it’s Harry Potter for adults.Five stars for one of the best series of its kind. Highly recommended.

This series just gets better and better
Ok so we find out lots of secrets in this book. Really finding this out makes you want to reread book one again to dissect how Leda and Nero met. Of course Faris tries to manipulate Leda(again). There is a reunion of sorts of missing family members. And we finally get to know who really is behind all of the trouble and chaos happening on Earth. And no it’s not Pandora. She is chaos she doesn’t cause chaos ( there is a difference). Anyway, this series is really good (stay up all night reading good). And I cannot wait for book 9! Also I am following the author as to the next book she writes and was amazed that it didn’t automatically tell me. Ugh I was searching for books and saw it. That means I waited like three days before I read it. That is awful. Also just wanted to say to the author hurry up with the next book already lol. Of course with any good story just when you feel the conclusion of one thing you gets more questions and problems. That’s what makes this series soooooo good. It is hard to find a book or series that provides so much interest that actually holds up to the promise it makes. But this series is just that.

Great book
Wow. This book was great & fun to read. Back to the beginning series styles of action, intrigue, sweet moments between Nero & Leda and revelations. Lots happens in this book. I can’t reveal much or I’d spoil the plot. I really enjoyed it. You can see the love between them. More is revealed about them & the series arc plot. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to move forward to the next book.

Leda Pandora
Her nickname stuck and she got the added bonus of ruling her hometown and the monsters land. Leda is forced to used her monster controlling magic to save her team so the secrets out but luckily the gods don't immediately come down and take her away to use her and her monster controlling ability. But with Leda things dont stay calm for long, she is the angel of chaos after all. As soon. Her angel magic levels out she finds out she has the fever. Which shouldn't be possible so soon after her transformation but then again nothing ever goes accordingly when it comes to Leda. Now she must marry a legion soldier. That's only the beginning however because it turns out the guardians aren't quite the good guys I assumed they were and the story behind that is only the beginning of what is to come which I can't wait to read!

One continuous adventure
This is one of my favourite books in the series so far. Leda as an angel is absolutely fantastic. While she is becoming more angel-like, she is still chaotic, fun and unpredictable. Leda's cat, Angel, is a feline version of Leda, and I love this addition to the team. I really enjoy Leda's ability to unite people, and unity was a big part of this book. I cannot wait to see her growth as an Angel, managing her territory and continuing fighting to save people and her world. l cannot wait to see what further awaits her in the next book. If you are a fan of this series, definitely read as Ella Summers continues her magic in this book.

Now I have to wait for the next one in LOA!
The series keeps on getting better and better, Leda remains her chaotic self but is finally integrating her angelic uplift. Really nice character development from everyone. Without giving too much away, there are some interesting developments which lead away from the battles between angels and demons. My only minor criticism is that to get the most out of this book, you should have read the other books in the series. Yes, it can be read as a stand alone book but much more enjoyable within the League of Angels series.

Another great addition to the series
The end of the last book was a bit of a cliffhanger which was quickly resolved in this book. It was nice that the author didn't try to streatch it out too much as the books where this is done can be a little tedious at times.Seeing Leda grow into her new Angel role was a great read, I love Leda as she brings so much humor to the story but you still believe she is a strong and capeable warrior. You get to learn more about some of the characters that have apeared in previos books, mainly the First Angel, but the book mainly centers on forging bonds between a small group.I don't want to give too much away so I will leave the review there for now

Legion of Angels
Brilliant more and more of Leda & Nero's life and the story behind the story is unfolding. Leda wanted to become an Angel to help her family but now she is playing with not just angels but God's and Demons. Then there are the Guardians to consider who seemed to be on the side of good but now have their own agenda that is perhaps not so good. Can't wait to read the next instalment. Recommend to anyone who likes a good book.

It had to happen
I love this series, each and every book. So much so that I wondered if there would ever he a book that I liked less than the others. Dont get me wrong, it's still great but I feel like its dragging a bit. The cliffhangers...urgh they are getting annoying now and moments we have been waiting for *no spoilers * are glossed over, in my opinion. I will still continue the series but yeah, my least favourite so far.
