Great sunscreen that applies smoothly especially to kids faces.
I have to say when I opened this product that I felt I was not getting much product. I have since changed my mind. I like the fact that it is more environmentally friendly. I think we all need to make a sacrifice to save our involvement. I like that it is natural. I really like the product that it goes on my toddler and childrens face so smoothly and evenly. It does not make you feel like you have something on. It is waterproof which is important. It is nice that it is a stick and you know where you are applying it. Lotions and sprays are so easily gotten into the eyes. This product was great because it only went on where I swiped it against. That is important to me and my children. It worked just as well as other sunscreens and is comparable in the water proof time in water as other products. The best part is that you can take it anywhere. Put it in your pocket, purse just a convenient size to carry with you to apply when needed. I recommend this product to moms with children. I will be trying some of their other products. A+ product.

Lightweight and not sticky all the while being water resistant
Really like this one. Leaves a slight whitecast but personally I don't mind as I find its benefits outweigh the slight white tinge. It goes on evenly and smoothly. It seems a bit thick and sticky right off of the stick but when you run it in it starts feeling much lighter. It's easy to spread evenly on your skin. When I went to wash my face and first put water on you could really tell the water resistance it has. But then it easily washed off as soon as I added soap. I've done a ton of homework on mineral sunblocks and have tried a bunch, and so far I really enjoy this one, plus it ticks a lot of important boxes: it's lightweight (as in it really doesn't leave a heavy sticky or goopy feel), non-comedogenic, uses non-nano zinc, uses a high percentage of zinc (20%), is water resistant for 80 minutes, is made in the US, is cruelty free, and is made with pretty simple ingredients (that you can pronounce). If it ends up causing my skin to break out I'll write an update but so far I'm really liking this one and definitely recommend it.

Great sunscreen for little kid faces
Great for using on my kids' faces! Leaves a bit of a white residue and is a bit hard to spread around after applying but that doesn't really bother us. Overall I enjoy this product. It gets the job done. Really hoping the stick lasts a decent amount of time because it was a bit pricey for the size of the stick. When I originally ordered I was picturing similar to a stick of deodorant but it is much smaller - my fault for not reading more in detail at the time of purchase.Overall, would buy again.

Mineral sunscreen stick review
I’m writing a review for this product as well as a number of other mineral sunscreen sticks (MSS) after testing a bunch of them—scroll down to point #6 below if you want to know which one I thought was the best. I’ve placed this exact review on every single other MSS I used. I specifically elected to go with mineral-based sunscreens—lots of talk on the environmental effects of the other sunscreens (not sure how much of this is actually true, but I’m willing to avoid the non-mineral sunscreens given the minimal investment on my part). Here are a few important points about this review:1. No one paid me to write this review. I put down my own $140 to get all 13 of these MSSs. I just wanted to find the best one by limiting as much bias as possible. Yes, my wife definitely gave me the you’re-crazy-but-I-guess-I’m-stuck-now look.2. Quick sunscreen tutorial. Most dermatologists say we should try to get an SPF of 30+. Each 1% of zinc counts for 1.6 SPF, so to hit SPF 30, your zinc has to be 18.75%+. Each 1% of titanium counts for 2.6 SPF, so a combination of zinc and titanium could get you to SPF 30 as well. Titanium apparently isn’t good enough to block UV-A (cancer causing and photo-aging) light on its own, so you must add zinc to it. I calculated the SPF based on the stated zinc and titanium percentages on the label and these calculations were usually different from the quoted SPFs (they might be adding more SPFs from other ingredients, but I can’t say for sure). Nine of the 13 MSSs had calculated SPFs 30+. Only 4 of the 13 had a calculated SPF greater than or equal to the label SPF.3. Because I can’t judge cancer prevention or aging blockade in the short term, avoiding burns and eye irritation are the most important immediately observable elements of an MSS. Every MSS I tested did equally well in burn avoidance and eye irritation avoidance.4. It should be noted that I’m not Caucasian, I’m South Asian. If you don’t know what that is exactly, Wikipedia it or watch some Russell Peters standup comedy (his old stuff, not his new stuff). My skin color is probably similar to that of Benjamin Bratt (mind you, we’re talking about his skin color only… I’m not even in the same galaxy of overall looks as he is, much to my wife’s chagrin). The ability of a white-colored MSS to blend is crucial for me. And yes, even brown people like me need sunscreen. It would absolutely suck for me as a South Asian to have a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension, skillfully dodge those bullets with diet and exercise and luck, only to get taken out by skin cancer.5. I like most scents. It seems like so many things are going unscented now—an MSS that is truly unscented is okay, but a lot of things labeled “unscented,” actually have an odd, unpleasant (sort of like bad oatmeal) smell to them. The scent score is logged as a “3” if it’s truly unscented, a “5” if it has a great scent, and a “1” if it smells bad.6. Here’s the final conclusion. Only 3 of the 13 MSSs I tested had the following combination of characteristics: calculated SPF 30+, smell score 3+, and blend score 4+. These top three were: Neutrogena Sheer Zinc, Aveeno Positively Mineral, and Blue Lizard. When you factor in cost, it’s a no-brainer—Neutrogena and Aveeno were only half the cost of Blue Lizard. Therefore, my two winners (tied for first place) are Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and Aveeno Positively Mineral. Honorable mention for Blue Lizard—twice as expensive as the others, but might be slightly easier to maneuver on your face given the smaller size stick (this is a stretch compliment for Blue Lizard—I think NSZ and APM are just better).Hope this helps you select your next mineral sunscreen stick!A^2

Is a great sunscreen
I bought this sunscreen stick for a trip, plus it meets the carry on requirements on a plain. The only issue I have besides price is that it does leave a bit of a white cast and you have to do a lot of rubbing/massaging to get it leave just a slight white cast. On me its a little noticeable since I'm Hispanic with light to medium tones.

SO THIS PRODUCT
guys don't buy this! Who would think putting oils like coconut and sunflower would be good in a sunscreen? First off, oil clogs your skin and I can't tell you enough how badly I broke out using this! We cook with coconut oil why the hell would you put it on your face and walk into the sun?! You're asking to get burnt! It also smells ehh. I wasn't aware it had all these oils in it before I bought it or else I wouldn't of. Just splurge on a decent face sunscreen! I understand wanting a good deal but your skin is worth more than that! Just my two cents. Maybe it works for others but I will not be buying it again!
