Union Light Included, 43" High United Solutions 75180 Large, Illuminated with Cord and Li, Santa Claus

I can't even have the satisfaction of reviewing this product, as only days after ours was delivered it has completely disappeared from Amazon. It was a total rip off anyway. $95 got us an evil clown looking snowman, that did NOT come with a light, and the instructions said to use no more than 40 watt bulb, which did not light him up a bit. The first (night time) photo shows our old reliable snowman on the left, and our super dimly lit new United Solutions 753000 Large Snowman on the right. The horrible paint job on the product are shown on the photo on the right. So no recourse on our investment, no review to read on a product no longer listed on Amazon. But we have learned that United Solutions is not a reputable company. Would never buy any of their products again, and will recommend to all I know to not buy from this company also. Ho, Ho, Ho. I love the size and look of this snowman. very vintage and sweet. However, out of the box his hat arrived completely peeling with chunks of paint missing. The paint peels right off with no effort. There is no way this would last outdoors. I imagine this being a nightmare to return and the price was right, so I think I will remove the paint and refinish it.

Classic looking Santa!!! Happy with my purchase. Some of the paint is sprayed outside the lines but from a distance you can't really tell. The packaging when shipped was very secure.

This snowman is excellent - great colors, and perfect size. I had a problem at first because there were no instructions that described the type of bulb that was needed - other than being no more than 40 watt. At first the bulbs I selected were all too wide, and although the bulb would screw in, they would only screw in partially and wouldn't light. I thought the socket was not working. Once I was able to find a bulb with a narrow neck it screwed in completely, and now it works perfectly. It would be helpful if there were instructions on the type of bulb, but thank goodness I decided to try a different shape bulb. All-in-all things turned out well. I didn't get to use it for Christmas, but I am very happy that I figured out the problem with the bulb, and look forward to displaying this wonderful snowman for many Christmases to come.

I wanted this big friendly decoration so badly so I kept it. However the paint job is horrendous. Paint dripped down the side from the earmuffs and big black under the eyes. It looks like a child painted the snowman.

My wife really wanted a nostalgic blow form plastic Santa like the ones from the 1970s. This seems to be the only one on the market. I feel it was overpriced as was the shipping but I like to please my lady. I read all the reviews so I was ready for a potentially poor and chipped paint job. It wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews but it’s definitely something that looks better from a distance. Paint is not along the lines and is sprayed in uneven coverage. I don’t think I’m gonna try to touch it up or anything (except maybe black magic marker for the eyes) but for this price, I think they could figure out how to paint them better and more consistently.

We had a very similar snowman for years, that started seeing better days! Got stumbled on, had a big hole, and where we put it every year, needed to be replaced... after scouring through the many lighted snowman, I thought I’d switch to one of the more modern mesh versions, but decided I still liked the good old fashioned hard plastic kind. Fortunately there was a company that still makes/sells them. It’s pretty much identical to the one it replaced. I read other reviews, and some were disappointed in the paint job, and lack of color. I almost didn’t order, but did anyway. So glad I did. The colors are nice and vibrant, and unlike our original, which had an open hole in back that the light was inserted and attached, this one is sealed, yet easy to access to replace the bulb. You may wish to put some sand in for added weight, but ours stayed just fine without. It’s a nice heavy plastic. Only issue was it took a lot longer to receive than what we were expecting. So order early!!

United Solutions 75300 large snowman arrived on time and in good condition. Quarter size black paint was loose on black hat. Spraying with black paint repaired the problem. Another customer had problem with paint on black hat also. The rest of the snowman was painted very well, especially the scarf. Was packaged with just a plastic bag for coverage, no other protection against possible damage in transport. A good buy for 50 dollars. Merry Christmas.
