Do not buy
There is nothing wrong with the product, but actually breaking down the headphones is very very hard!!

Good quality, difficult job
Parts as described, good quality. However if you’re thinking of doing this job, it’s not easy!!! I’d be as bold as to say it’s very difficult... which of course is no slur on the parts which were A1.

Not an easy repair but a very good product
Used hinge to repair Beats Solo 3 Headphones. This is an advanced job as you have to de-solder and re-solder the wires inside the headphones. The Hinge works fine and is just like the original once all put back together.

Perfect…
Would highly recommend.

If you are only replacing the metal clasp, it's more straightforward
My daughter's Beats Solo 3 wireless right earphone hinge was loose, apparently a common problem. The plastic hinge cover was intact but the internal metal clasp was damaged; one of the clasps snapped off hence it wouldn't lock in place. Searched for videos and stuff and yes, first reaction was this looks like not a quick fix. I'm fairly handy with the solder iron but I would rather not if I didn't have to. When the hinge replacement arrived I followed the video but I did not unsolder the wires. I popped off the side panel and realised I didn't have to fully desolder the wires. Once the side panel is off, you free up the black wire so the hinge arm can slide away. Take one of the small pins out so the hinge arm comes away then you can replace the metal clasp. The hardest bit was putting the small pin back in to secure the hinge arm. The video is useful and shows you every thing you need to do, you just don't need to do it all IF you only need to change the metal clasp. Hope this helps!
