Sauder Boulevard Café Night Stand, L: 14.49" x W: 14.96" x H: 24.02", Black finish

I was a bit weary of Sauder brand products as I wasn't sure of their product quality. However, I was furnishing my apartment amidst the COVID pandemic and virtually all furniture online is out-of-stock and backordered. As a result, I stumbled upon these Sauder Boulevard Cafe Night Stands which were in stock and purchased two for my bedroom. Obviously via Amazon, they came super quick which was most appreciated. I also appreciate the modern and industrial look of these nightstands. They are a simple black color and are fully metal. The dimensions (primarily height) also matched up perfectly with my bed, so really satisfied with that too.The main problem I had with this product is assembly. As I said I purchased two of these and on each product, in the same area, the holes did not line up. I take this to be poor quality control during production. Since all pieces are metal, there isn't really any flexibility with how you put these pieces together. As a result, some of my screws went in sideways and on one or two occasions, the screw didn't go in at all as the holes were too out of line. With that said even though assembly did not go as simply as the instructions described, it overall didn't take that long and none of the panels or pieces stuck out awkwardly... everything was secure and you can't tell that the sides/back may not be as tight as possible.

Every single one of the 'front' arrows that is supposed to make assembly easier was backward on this product. I understand that mistakes happen. But this small mistake, that hopefully is a one off, made my satisfaction with this product plummet. It's a very nice nightstand, and is pretty much exactly what I wanted. But because it took me 3 attempts to put together and 2.5 hours of my time because of several misplaced stickers, - when it could have taken me 20 minutes - I will be knocking down my rating. What's the point of paying for time, labor, and manufacturing on a line if you can't put a stick on correctly and it makes the customer so irritated they never want to buy a product of yours again?

I almost didn’t purchase because there are so many bad reviews talking about the assembly being difficult on multiple websites. My 13 year old really wanted it for his room so I decided to purchase anyways and figured we could just purchase different screws if needed. I was able to assemble in about 15 minutes and the screws did not give me any issues so I’m thinking the company must have changed things to make them better! The night stand is exactly like we expected very sturdy and nice! You won’t regret buying! It was also significantly cheaper on Amazon compared to other major retailers!

We ordered this and we’re missing the parts to put the door on. We returned it and got a replacement. We just opened the replacement and it’s missing ALL of the screws and hardware, and the pieces are bent and scratched like it’s previously been returned. 2 different night stands delivered and issues with both.

Holes were very tight. I must have gotten a return unit since the bag of screws were open and I was missing a couple of screws that must have rolled out. Manufacturer was easy to get a hold of for new screws. The new screws look slightly different but worked fine.

Ordered two of these - BOTH had problems of the screw holes misaligned to the point where they cannot be completed. Both are missing screws. Really wobbly and unstable footing - works fine on carpet would but definitely would NOT recommend for hard flooring room. Very cheap, poor quality build.

Cute little side table. Missing a hole for one of the screws, but it is still sturdy. Door dragged along the bottom a bit, but I added an o-ring to the bottom hinge and now opens and closes smoothly. For the price, I am satisfied with what I received.

All metal construction and looks like an upscale industrial locker. But not juvenile. My 12-year-old son was impressed. Sauder seems to be one of the better brands for cheap furniture that looks good.

Purchased this for my son a couple of months ago and didn't receive the order. I repurchased it, only got 1 of my 2 nightstands with no instructions or screws.
