TLDR: i recommend this product.Disclaimer: I'm an adult male that has put together my fair share of furniture around the house growing up. I'm one of those "just look at the picture" to assemble it types of guys now in my adult years and love d.i.y stuff.Review:I read the reviews about the instructions being terrible. I feel like the instructions were meant for someone that didn't need much hand-holding. and when I saw those reviews about the instructions being terrible. i thought its can't be that bad but the reviews are correct to the extent that the instructions are not beginner-friendly. So if you don't have much experience putting furniture together do yourself a favor and get that expert assembly. Aside from the instructions issue, this product is sturdy and does the job that you need it to. no complaints. I have no regrets about this furniture line. I bought the whole set! Its design and assembly is identical to Ikea and requires patience and an understanding of the logic of how its all put together.Two criticisms though...the screws, locks, pins and dowels SHOULD be in separate bags instead of just 1 mess of a bag. Also these items aaaaren't actually all black ( this wasent a mistake but seems to be how its classified now adays. Ikea calls this color " brown black" see the attached pics( I added handles so ignore that) but this isn't all that noticeable until direct light hits it.Definitely set aside a couple to a few hours for assembly and to familiarize yourself with the pictured instructions ( pay CLOSE attention to where the hardware goes in the pics).The worse part of it all arguably is the repition of the drawer assembly but when its all done you will be pleased!

It is not horrible. If you have patience you can put it together, but may struggle a bit.Expect what uou pay for.If you are moving dont buy this, this may not survive a move.But if you just moved in and wont be changing the location of this too much it can def last a couple years.

This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon. I am accustom to purchasing ikea furniture. I thought this would be similar to the 4 draw MALM dresser for 125 dollars, as I live in an area where the closest ikea is 9 hours away round trip. This is not anywhere close to as durable as something purchased at ikea. The side planks arrived cracked, the planks were packed without any covering between them, they were dusty and scuffed. The directions are poorly executed, all the screws are packaged in one bag, they are not labeled nor are the pictures provided clear as to which screws to use . I dont believe this product is worth more than 65 dollars. This whole line should be discontinued. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS Product, Unless it is a gift for your enemies so that their hands be pierced by splinters, their floors covered in dust and discarded Styrofoam packaging, and their children crushed to death by precariously constructed, likely formadlyde ladden MDF. In fact, now that I think about I will pass this along to my enemies.

This looks, from across the room, like it did online, but once you get close the drawers do not shut cleanly with the panels. Also, there was a large chip out of one of the sides when it got here, luckily it did not prevent assembly. Also the panels that separate the drawers from one another to hide the gap between them is particle board like the rest but the bottom edges are not covered so the dust falls into the drawers which is the worst part about it for me. I had to put tape over it to stop the dust from falling onto my clothes. The drawers are very shallow and do not fit very tall stacks. Normally I would stand my shirts up like books so that I can see each one and the drawers are not tall enough to do that. I regret my decision to purchase this chest of drawers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Absolutely love the dresser, the instructions were a bit tricky but still I was able to follow them. I love that I now I five drawers and have more space. The color is exactly what I was looking for. It's sturdy as well, would definitely recommend it.

Used it for years and served its purpose well

There are moments in life where you see with such clarity where you are and are not in life. Putting this piece of furniture together I realized that I am well off enough in life that I have clothing that needs to be stored, and the financial security to pay $200 for a dresser. Coming from a very poor background that seems like something to be proud of.However when this arrived, it was damaged. The hardware was in a huge plastic bag all together with no labels. The instructions were hideous. After three hours I managed to hobble it together. There were way too many screws left over, I was missing a bunch of things, I broke one of the drawers a little. And I realized this is the poor side of middle class. I can’t afford something put together and nice, but I wanted it delivered to my house and was willing to spend a couple hundred.It made me sad. All my hard work to earn the money for the dresser, all the hours I spent. And it’s not nice. It’s slightly broken. New but not nice. Just sad.
