Best Performance Tank Lock 2.0 Marine Locking Fuel Cap for Boats

Even if the installation was easy, I had to install another O ring as the one provided appeared too small and water can get into the tank.When lock, there is quite a space between the lower part and the upper part (lock) where somebody can insert a screwdriver and lift enough in order to reach the hole for unscrewing.And least, after one week installed, already some rust (what kind of SS, certainly not 316L for marine) appears. ONE WEEK.As I am abroad, I stick with it but for the price, would expect a top notch design and material. Far from this.I don't like to write bad review and nearly never did. But for this product and price, no other choice.

I am giving the locking fuel cap a 3 star rating because even though the diameter was perfect, the cap had a different tread pattern from the female treads of the boat fuel line. I sent it back and received a full refund very quickly, but I would rather have had a locking fuel cap that fit. The 3 stars represent my disappointment.

I accidently ordered the wrong size. The company was extremely helpful and responded immediately. My return was very prompt and Rachel kept me informed of every step along the way. When the correct size was received, I was delighted with the fit and quality of the product.I recommend both the product, staff (Rachel) and company. All are excellent!

Fits my Nautique 200 very well. I wish a locking gas cap would have been a dealer option. It would have prevented someone from pouring water into my gas tank.

Ideal to protect boats up on davits next to finger docks.
