Another good read
I have read every book in the series, they will keep you entertained for hours...of course if your a fast reader probably faster! The only flaw to this book was all the new people the author decided to add. I was a little confused at times. But looking forward for the next in the book in the series.

I would give this story and the author ten stars if I could!
It looks like Ronnie and Clare have another target on their backs and their pregnancy induced "crazy" sister, Kate, has come up with a plan. Her solution? The resurrection of the Prickly Pear Posse, a blast from their past that just by the name lets you know that trouble is in the air. The sisters, with the addition of their cousin, Natalie Beals, will take this bull by the horns and catch the killer before he can strike...at least that's the plan, but knowing this cast of characters you KNOW hilarity will ensue! With the special appearance of Natalie, who is running from a certain Deadwood lawman that is truly tempting her "man sabbatical" and sanity, (who by the way just happens to turn up in Jackrabbit Junction with his Uncle, Ol’ Man Harvey "on vacation") the heat is turned up, on the sisters AND on Nat as the juggling and fun begins.Ms. Charles has a lot of balls in the air in this story with lots of action and snappy dialogue in her own tongue-twisting style that will have you laughing out loud. It is amazing to see how she braids the many strings into one perfectly tied bow at the end of this tale! The addition of the Deadwood cast adds to the fun and insanity and you know Ol’ Man Harvey fits right in!I would give this story and the author ten stars if I could!

A fun adventure.
The Morgan sisters are crazier than ever. Especially Kate, she takes crazy to a whole new level. I love the car chase scene with Kate and her Rockford moves. When a killer comes after several people and two of the sisters, they form a The Prickly Pear Posse. They will find the killer before he comes after them. What could go wrong? A fun adventure.

This book is a party!
I LOVED this book! OK, I love all Ann Charles' books but I'm an addict for both the Deadwood and Jackrabbit Junction series, and CAHOOTS is like a great fusion meal! I reread the first four (Jackrabbit Junction) books just to refresh and this 5th book was a fine desert dessert! The amazing characters still make you laugh out loud; the Morgan sisters make you shake your head, as usual, and you just want to go on a hike with them, hoping one will invite you to join their posses! Brilliantly adding Harvey to Gramps, Manny and Chester stokes all their fires even hotter (!), Mack remains yummy and I think I am in love with Butch! With a Deadwood cross-over as Natalie joins her cousins to help at the RV Park (OMG Coop!!!), great villians and a crazy mother (so it's inherited?) what's not to love? Such wonderful fun! It's a great party!

The best Morgan sister adventure to date
This book was a total joy to read. It had the 3 Morgan sisters, AND their cousin Natalie to round out the posse. I loved spending time with them and their significant others. Ann has a way of telling a story that really sucks you in and makes you feel like one of the gang. The Deadwood and Jackrabbit Junction plotlines cross over here with Coop and Natalie. After years of following them, it was SO GOOD to see some resolution there. If you haven't read the series, I advise you to start at the beginning. The books can be read as standalone, but the stories DO build on one another, so the experience is even better when taken in order. And why not, they go down oh so good!

ANOTHER GREAT BOOK BY ANN CHARLES!!!
I'm a HUGE fan of Ann Charles. If you are not familiar with her books then you are missing out on a fun and exciting adventure!!!Her characters are people you wish you literally knew IRL. I look forward to reading her books as much as I look forward to eating ice cream (literally a real treat) or having a watermelon margarita!!! The bad part is that the book eventually has to end :( . I really like that the characters intertwine with other characters in other stories. Without giving anything away it was a pleasant surprise in this book (not that it isn't always) I just wasn't expecting it.I highly recommend the Jackrabbit Junction Mystery series as well as all of the other series!!! You won't be disappointed unless you aren't into this genre. Which if that is the case then you don't know what you are missing!!! I loved it!!!

The Morgan Sisters Re-form the Prickly Pear Posse, Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series Book 5
I absolutely love this book, #5, in the Jackrabbit Junction series written by Ann Charles. Each book builds upon the previous but they can be read out of order as the author always makes sure the reader has a connection. In fact, most of her 25 books and short stories cans also be enjoyed singularly or consecutive in the series. I particularly favor this book because the heroines of the series, the Morgan sisters, are a handful to say the least. But then all her characters are memorable, especially those in her 10 book, Deadwood Mystery series of paranormal adventures in the Black Hills. I purchase her books the day they are released and have read all at least once. Great character development, unique plots, and colorful locations, from Arizona to South Dakota, mark every novel, filled with humor, action, and suspense. Can't wait for the next installment.

I love the Morgan sisters.
These books have So much humour in them they are a joy to read. The Morgan sisters (and the men who live them) are fabulous, the byplay between them all is so hilarious i find myself laughing out loud. Not to mention the well crafted mystery that is an integral part of these stories. Claire is the middle sister, working as a handyman on her step-grandmothers R V park, Kate used to be a teacher till she decided the job no longer suited her, on paying a visit to see her family she meets and falls for local bar owner Butch, Kate's my favourite, when you read the books I'm sure you'll agree. Then there's Ronnie (Veronica) the eldest just out of a bad marriage and reeling at having to start over with no money/home/ or job she turns up in Jackrabbit Junction to pick her wounds with the rest of the family. Add in the wisecracking sexuality promiscuous geriatric friends of their grandfathers and things are never dull at the R V park. Cannot recommend this series.enough it's great fun.

Coop smiles!
Usual fun filled story, which follows from the others. Thoroughly enjoyable and a nice touch bringing characters from Ann Charles’s Deadwood series
