Overall this is a nice bookcase. But there were enough flaws and difficulty in assembly that keep it from getting 5 stars. These are way better than that blue and yellow Sweedish international furniture store. These are solid wood and weight about 100 lbs. I bought two of these. The first one went together pretty well. But the second one has issues with 2 of the 3 doors. One is apparently too small leaving a large gap on the one side of the frame. The other door is too large, and does not close cleanly. what is annoying is that there is really no adjustments on these hinges. Plus the one door's pilot holes were made about 1/4" too deep. I had to re-drill the holes in the proper place to get a better fit. There is a lot of tedious "screwing" and turning of fasteners that gets hard on the wrists, knees and back. I will give them 5 Stars for their packaging and protecting the individual pieces in transit. Also perfect on the hardware, with a bag of extra fasteners in case you lose something. Everything was nicely labeled, but there was some inconsistencies between the two bookcases and the directions. If you are a real stickler for perfection, these might not be for you.

The product arrived damaged, ordered a replacement item and kept the damaged item just to be safe. Replacement arrived….you guessed it damaged. And it did not appear to be shipping damage, I believe the items were damaged when they were packed up as the boxes were relatively unscathed and did not match the horrible damage some of the parts had. I was able to put together the item using two boxes. UPS was supposed to pick up the item today and left a note on the door instead. I ended up having to take the huge heavy box to the UPS store. Overall a crappy customer experience.

We received one part that arrived broken. Customer service was easy and quick to get a replacement part shipped to me! Looks great!

I liked the nice gentleman that came with it and put it together. Awesome job! Now I have a trunk coffee table I ordered at the time I had Covid. There it sits in the box.

Double check your measurements, because this may be thinner that you expect front-to-back. The top overhangs the body in front by around an inch, so keep that in mind as it affects the profile & interior capacity. Quality is inline with price, lotta solid wood, logical assembly. Would buy more in this line.

Went together perfectly squared, but the hinges on one door were in the wrong place. Plus the bottom hinge was set too deep, had to shim it. Frustrating.

I bought this piece of furniture and was so excited because it was actually all wood, for a change, I took the parts out of the box noticed there weren't as many as I expected and thought wow this should be a piece of cake. I was wrong and it took me all weekend, two entire days, to assemble. The grommets are a terrible idea for something this large and heavy, they are not sturdy and do not stay, they also break easy. I had to pull out extra grommets I had left over from a different piece of furniture I assembled recently. Also, the front doors were not labeled correctly causing me to put one on backwards, then fix it. The grommets that are not sturdy cause the entire piece to not fit together properly. I literally had to put my own screws into the top from inside the cabinet to secure the furniture. Otherwise it was so wobbly, can't have a wobbly buffet, it's for many dishes or China etc. which is heavy. All that said it's together and looks great after my home made modifications. I would have sent it back but I just moved and have had to get refunds for two other pieces of furniture I purchased from Amazon lately and I was just ready to put this last thing together and be done unpacking. I would try to purchase from this company one more time, I feel like they have good products maybe it was just my luck to get a piece like this, also the wood cracked and broke in a spot while trying to secure the top but thankfully it isn't in a super important spot.

I guess I should give this a 4 star rating...it wasn't "perfect". There were very slight issues with staining, and s light ding, or what appeared to be a few random nail holes. there is a slight knot hole on one drawer front and the corner backing was cracked (in packing..couldn't have been be, as I was treating it like it was glass. I made a list of notes as I assembled it and studied each piece: Part D had a less than perfect stain job, as did E, J, and G (but not that bad at all and in no where you could see after the finish job. Part E had what looked like a couple of extra random nail holes, and the inside edge appeared touched up with a marker..or excess stain. Part J (drawer front) had a slight knothole, but to me, adds to the charm. Part M (Drawer bottom) appeared cracked all the way through but glued back together ...but a good job. Due to the nature of that fix, the line where it was likely previously cracked, smells like glue. All pieces , along with a bag of extra parts, were there. So why do I still give it a 5 star? Yes, these were slight issues, but just because I noticed them, doesn't mean most would, and it in no way affected the piece end result. Hardest part was leveling the drawers, but I did manage to get it done eventually, (with the aid of a toothpick for extra security, as I was worried I had taken the screws in and out too much while adjusting the doors. Plus, I learned some things in assembling that made it better than reviewers or product description had said. the most important extra was that there really are drawer stops..hard to know, but on the last page of instruction, it gives exact instructions on where they are and how to turn the pieces of wood, already attached, to keep the drawers from pulling out. The other thing I was able to do, that I saw others complain about, was adjust how far back the magnets for the door go, so that it they don't stick too strong, and make it hard to open, without pulling it over. I simply needed to move the larger magnet piece further back, just the the back edge of the line that runs down the seam of the bottom shelf....Oh, and the shelves are adjustable inside, plus the shelves have been finished on 4 sides, making them able to be turned around, if something ever happens to damage the one side. I ended up with a MUCH better than expected piece of furniture. I plan to add some pics, but my phone battery just died, so will do it later.

Outside of the wrong hardware package which was addressed more than expected this is a beautiful entryway bench. Great quality and easy instructions thumbs up. Oh at least 2 lol

basically I just received this entry way & its cheaply made but of course it was also cheap in price. so you definitely get what you pay for. pay more (double) for quality. I'd give this entryway about 3 years before it breaks. its in a mudroom with heavy use. this is no disrespect to the company. they took great care in their packing of the bench & there was nothing wrong with the parts when they arrived. its just a cheap feel piece that was actually cheap in price. so again I cant give it a bad rating because you cant get quality wood solid furniture for the price they are charging & I didn't know that until now.

Malgré un problème de qualité , je dois avouer que le service à la clientèle d'Amazone à été d'un professionnalisme hors pair. La communication avec le vendeur et le fabriquant a été extrêmement rapide. Le vendeur (Cymax) et le fabriquant (Simpli-Home) ont toys les deux offert un rabais pour dédommagement. J'ai été agréablement surpris de l'entente entre nous. Bravo à vous 2 pour votre suivi après vente.

Great bench, but the description said no assembly required. You do have to put it together. It is a sturdy and nice looking bench though.

Excellent bench and very well made. Note when assembling use a dab of wood clue to make it sturdier than it already is.
