They didn’t grow.

I have been keeping tuberous begonias for years and am familiar with their care. They get dug up when done growing in the late fall and replanted the following April once the rain slows down. These new ones I purchase on Amazon looked totally health and were firm - no wounds or soft spots. They got planted a later than the my others on May 10 - and I knew they should eventually catch up with the others.By June 10 two of the five had sprouted and had several leaves. The other 3 tubers hadn’t grown at all! By July one of those 3 sprouted 1 little leaf, but the other 2 have no leaves yet. They have a few super tiny green nubs starting to show so I know they’re still alive. I moved them into my greenhouse to try to speed them up.These tubers have been potted for +2 months! I’ve never had it take this long to get them growing.I’m thinking they may have been in storage for more than a year before I received them. It’s like they’re in suspended animation!I haven’t given up on the slow pokes yet.Update! I messaged this business after writing this review, and they’re going to make good by replacing the 3 tubers that aren’t growing! So cool!

Started indoors in peat pots. Ready to go outdoors within a week.2 weeks and all have significant growth! Very happy
