Got these to test an airsoft AEG that was wired for Tamiya and I only have deans batteries. This was a brand new in box aeg. Plugged everything in correctly (catch lined up on the Tamiya side and deans are obvious.) Pulled the trigger on semi and instantly smelled burning ozone and plastic as well as the aeg not firing properly. Checked connections and noticed the connector was smoking so removed the battery and the Tamiya connector melted some but still usable. Checked the plug itself since it was still plugged into the aeg connector and noticed that the wires on the Tamiya side coming from the aeg were not lining up (positive to positive) when the adapter was used and instead the deans side was reversed. This pretty much shot the motor on the aeg as well as the original battery I tested it with. $10 plugs just cost me close to $150 (motor, wiring, fuse, new titan battery, etc.) in parts and repairs once everything is said and done. Check before you pluhlg in this adapter.

They did what I needed them to do. They do add a little bit of bulk and length to the battery cables. I used some Velcro to make sure it didn’t flop around in my R/C car.
