Club Mint Biscuit Bars, 161 g (7 Bars Per Pack)

I bought these mainly for quick snacks with tea and coffee, and honestly they are one of those biscuits that always end up disappearing much faster than expected. I had not had Club Mint bars in ages, and trying them again reminded me why they’ve been such a classic for so long. The first thing I noticed was how good the mint flavour still is. It’s fresh and cooling without being too strong or overpowering, and it works perfectly with the chocolate coating and crunchy biscuit inside. The balance between mint, chocolate and biscuit is honestly spot on, offering excellent at this price point. What impressed me most is the texture. The biscuit stays properly crunchy while the chocolate coating adds just enough sweetness without feeling too heavy. Together they make a really satisfying snack, especially with a hot drink. I also really like that the mint flavour tastes smooth and natural rather than overly artificial like some mint chocolate snacks can. It gives that refreshing taste without becoming too sweet or sickly after a couple of bars. The individually wrapped bars are another big plus because they stay fresh and are really convenient for lunchboxes, work snacks or taking out during the day. They are also ideal for portion control — although admittedly it’s still very easy to go back for another one. I have mostly been eating these with tea in the evening, and they work perfectly because the mint flavour somehow feels both comforting and refreshing at the same time. Another thing I appreciated is that the chocolate coating is generous enough to actually taste properly chocolatey instead of just a thin layer over biscuit. What surprised me most is how nostalgic they feel. One bite instantly reminded me of having them years ago, and thankfully they still taste just as good now. The pack size is practical as well because there are enough bars to last several snack sessions, although in our house they disappeared much quicker than intended because everyone kept reaching for them. I am really impressed with the flavour, crunch and freshness of these biscuit bars. Minty, chocolatey, crunchy and seriously moreish. If you enjoy mint chocolate snacks or classic biscuit bars with a satisfying crunch, I would absolutely recommend these.

A past favourite, although flavour could be a bit stronger

McVities always have knack for creation of tasty food product. This is no difference. Mint flavour infused into chocolate which is then layered on biscuit. It works very well. Great taste, great crunch. All in individual wrapped foil for added freshness packaging. Thanks.

I keep these in the refrigerator, makes the chocolate is a little harder, and I think it even tastes better. Not too sweet, but just enough to satisfy my tase buds. Great value for my money, and great quality. Putting them in the refrigerator also freshens them up for a great taste.
