This compact DAC converter has transformed my TV viewing experience! I've been wanting to connect my TV to my Cambridge Audio amplifier and big Mordaunt-Short speakers for some time but as my TV's only audio output is an optical cable (with not even a headphone socket), I was stumped as to how to connect them. An audiophile friend of mine told me that a DAC converter was what I needed, so I carefully searched online and compared loads of different models, particularly on Amazon. I settled on this Prozor one with the added Bluetooth receiver. Oh my word! It was so easy to connect it to my TV and the twin outputs to my amplifier and instantly dramatically improved the audio from anything I'm watching on TV. I also had an unused Yamaha sub-woofer, which I connected to the Sub-woofer output line from my amp and this further improved the sound quality considerably. Using the Bluetooth option to link to my phone means I can easily listen to music from my phone through my amp and speakers too. All it all, an outstandingly effective and quality piece of kit, especially as it cost less than £25! Best £25 I've spent in a long time!

Outstanding, exceeded expectations.Bought a similar one of the same brand years ago, it lasted nearly 3 hrs, then power socket got damaged after a fall, so I had to replace the old one. Having tried a few of different brands in the past, the most common issue was the volume keeping too low. So I preferred to avoid risk and went to buy this again.This model is an update as the old one no longer exists.Wow. Impressed by performance.I mainly use it on an old TV that had the analogic headphones socket who became defective. I connect the infrared cable (provided now, a bonus), from the TV to this little device. Then you need to select the channel it's playing on, and it's done.I'm really pleasantly overwhelmed by how powerful and loud this is. It also comes with a remote to regulate the volume. In fact you cant use the TV volume which should be left to zero.Unlike similar devices it is extremely loud, powerful, and you can regulate the volume from the remote or using the buttons.100 stars deserved

Excellent item.Converts optical to analog,and switches functions to also be a Bluetooth receiver that converts digital to analog.Worked incredibly easily, took 2 minutes start to finish to set up including Bluetooth. Has a remote control for convenience in switching modes between optical and Bluetooth (also has coaxial connections function as well so you could have another source connected to it as well). Has a handy mute function on the remote and volume control which when turned to the max still provides excellent sound quality.Did exactly what I wanted it for, looks good and all round it was very good value for money.

I was browsing Amazon for sound bars for my new Samsung TV when I came across this little box. I read the reviews and then had a look for my old Bose 2.1 system I bought about a decade ago, which was gathering dust in a cupboard. I decided to take a punt and hit the buy button.The item came in the usual basic packaging but felt well built, a metal chassis with nice clicky buttons. I first tried to connect it to my TV with the red and white connectors but there was a constant buzz. I then connected using the 3mm headphone jack and changed the TV sound settings to optical and BOOM, the Bose filled the room with wonderful sound. I'm no expert but I'm no longer looking for a Soundbar.I've also tried the Bluetooth with my phone and that worked a treat too. I understand what some of the reviewers are saying about the remote control, it does go from very quiet to very load in just a few presses, but it doesn't detract from how good this item is. Highly recommend buying if you are in a similar position.

I used this to output sound from a 2020 TV via TOSLINK and output using the 3.5mm earphone jack. It's a very well made solid feeling item cased in metal. It sounds great and has a remote control to switch on/off, select modes and control the volume. It comes with all the cables you will need except for the red/white banana plugs. Power for the unit is via USB port and the remote has a CR2025 coin battery.If it were to be improved then the remote could be made a bit more substantially using a CR2032 battery (more standard) and the infra red receiver on the unit designed to cover a wider angle to make it less directional and for the volume to go up/down in smaller increments.These are minor points though and overall I am very pleased with the product, would buy it again if needed and well recommend it.

This converter was probably the best purchase of 2025 for me. Got my tv linked through optical, pc and phone through Bluetooth all in to my amp via one set of phono leads. Plus having the remote with volume control and source control is an absolute game changer.

Overall very good for the job - purchased to convert digital co-axial phono output to stereo analogue output for Zeppelin soundbar. However it died after 10 months use, the input signal selector became unresponsive. Despite it being less than 12 months old which makes it not fit for purpose under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act, Amazon don't seem to have an option to return it which is a violation of their responsibility under the said legislation. 😡😡😡

Entree optique ne fonctionne plus apres 2 mois.En attente du support Prozor pour garantie.En contactant le vendeur, j ai reçu un autre en remplacement, qui a pu faire fonctionner la garantie et non le support prozor.J ai pu connecter mon ampli Pioneer SA-560 a la télévision (ampli sans télécommande) et contrôler le son avec une télécommande.Pour contrôler le volume, Il faut fixer le volume maximum au bouton de l ampli et ensuite via la télécommande du prozor on peut diminuer le volume (surtout au moment de la publicité )Dommage que la télécommande soit infrarouge (ça ne passe pas à travers les porte de meubles )

Solid build quality for the price. Remote works great, ir receiver is red and easy to spot giving you dac level volume control and muting ability plus the ability to switch between different inputs. All inputs are clearly labeled so setup is easy. The Bluetooth antenna is removable if you don't want it on the unit. Comes with a decent digital audio cable as well as a coaxial cable in the box, so there's no need to get those cables for output. Worked great plug and play out of the box, just make sure you set your TV to PCM or digital output to get sound if your TV doesn't switch automatically. Worked great for adding diy speakers to my TV and now it's in my custom built arcade cabinet.
