LARE Secrets Study Guide: LARE Test Review for the Landscape Architect Registration Exam Pap/Psc St Edition

I hold a MLA & am taking the LARE. This book is packed full of excellent info but, NO INDEX .. That's right, you have to use the Table of Contents to look specific terms up under broad categories. Check out the "Look inside" feature to see what I'm talking about.. it would have been a massive time saver to put an index in & it would have made this book 10x more useful.

Love the descriptions and explanations of terminology. The practice questions are very helpful. Needs to have more scenarios and practice for Sections 3 and 4 which are the most troublesome of all the exams.

This study guide provides me a with clear direction as well as great tips to prepare for the test. The amount of reading content in each section can become overwhelming when you don't have much time to prepare and read through all of the material. Thank you for this study aid!

It is a well written book and easy to study with. It gives a short overview about the topic. The layout is really pleasant.

This study guide is setup to basically define COMMON words within the landscape architecture profession. It was obvious someone (who apparently doesn't know how to spell or even hit "spell check") outside of LA put this together. It was also structured along the old Sections A-E format. Even in the RARE case that the book defined a helpful point, it did not elaborate so the reader could grasp the concept. The information was too vague.I would not spend money on this material again.
