I have patchy cheeks and needed to EVENLY drop my cheek line, which creates the appearance of fullness. I've tried this many times on my own and failed at every attempt. I finally gave up and went to a barber to achieve my desired look. I don't always have time to schedule appointments to stay clean cut though. I wanted to take care of my beard grooming on my own. That's exactly what this product allows me to do. I can achieve those perfect clean lines without visiting the barber. Excellent product. Some complain about the price, but one visit to get lined up cost me $15 anyway. Not including the time taken out of my day sitting at the barber shop. Very pleased with my purchase.

I am currently working on my third beard as somebody in my late 20s. I grow a fairly large beard, several months throughout the winter. I always struggled with how to get a nice lineup on the cheeks freehand. I came across this product and it made sense to me. I chuckled at the idea of using it with a black eyeliner pencil to dryline before cutting, but once received, I realize that was a far superior idea as opposed to holding it to the face and shaving against it. As YouTube reviewer's noted, take your time to draw the lines accurately check them for symmetry, then it was easy to catch out my lines with my Andis T liner and a razor blade to finish it off. 15 bucks maybe a bit expensive for a piece of plastic but I like it for the convenience and it fit well for my facial size and would recommend this product.

First off packaging ,materials and instructions are very good.The material that this is made with is definitely high grade plastic that will not break , bend or damage easily.I truly like the bevel edge which allows me to use my t-liner smoothly.OK so what are the cons?(Just keep in mind these are my opinions and for you it may not be)I wear glasses and for me this poses a problem because lining the tool with my face over my glasses has been a little difficult.Second since the plastic is rigid it will not bend with the contures of your face. Which again makes it difficult.The edges have marking Which helped a little in lining up your face,howe've if the lining up is slightly off then your shape up will be off.Here is what I suggested,1. This will take some time to get the perfect line up you want.. so you will have to experiment a few time to get it done right (no fast shave here on the first try )2. I suggest purchasing a white eye pencil or some sort of stencil pencil before actually shaving. Begin by lineing up your face with the tool and trace the angle and lines you want with the eye pencil (use the markers on the edge and your mustache to line up where you want your beard to be ).This will ensure a perfect line up.3. Go over with a t-liner starting from the pencil line and go up so you will not get go over the line. I don't recommend using a standard shaving blade like a gellette or mack 3 use a machine or if your talented a straight razor.Again you will need to have patience ,time and practice. I've been looking for something to help me get cleaner lines in my beard and this does it for the most part, but there are a few downsides--There's no true way to gauge if you're hitting the same spot on both sides, so can easily cause different angles or different arcs. This has caused me to have to shave off my entire beard a few times due to slight misalignments in holding the tool. I'm not sure there's an easy way to accomplish this in any tool and I suppose you just have to be good at eyeballing alignment well. The other issue I ran into with this is along the neck trimming doesn't quite work--it doesn't line up well with my neck's structure so it just left weird lines all over if I followed it for my neck.

I just got it in the mail 5/27/16. I really didn't think it would work. I bought it out of desperation. I've had a great beard for 5 years. I'm 43 now and can't find my line anymore on my own. I guess my face is melting :( anyway, it was really quick and easy. I was taking my line way too high up on my own and my neck looked like someone tried slicing my throat when I did it on my own. All day it would drive my beard ocd crazy if my line was off. I was able to take my line lower with the beard bro. It was quick to do my cheeks. My neck isn't sore like it usually is. You shave right over it like a stencil. I recommend it.

I've had a beard for over 8 years now. The longer I grow it out, the more unruly/unkempt it looks, mostly because the hair lines have lost that straight defined edge. I would normally redefine the lines myself using a razor, but not knowing what i'm doing, I usually just did a diagonal straight line. This let's me keep my beard the length I want. Instructions are easy, it's ready to use out of the box, I had a nice, crisp line within minutes on my jawline and cheekline. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this because I thought it would be easier to shape my beard and ensure symmetry with it, rather than by hand like I was doing - but as it turns out, I was doing just as well without this product. It is very awkward to hold in position with one hand while trying to shave with the other. And the comb side is not long enough for me to place it at the edge of my mouth in such a way to be able to ensure it's in the right position to ensure symmetry. Also, when using a razor instead of clippers, I have trouble with the razor blade catching the edge of this product. I really don't recommend this, as after trying it twice, I won't be using it any longer.

Having been bearded for the past14 or so years on and off I've struggled to maintain a good neck and cheek line by free styling and have refused to have a barber touch my beard. After reading some reviews about the stiffness of the plastic I was concerned but although it's stiff it's the perfect size from ear to mustache and its worked perfectly to give a straight line on my neck.I highly recommend this for anyone to add to the treasured shaving kit!
