Great product
I have been warned about the bitter taste of this tea. Yes, it is bitter. However, let's face it. Most of us looking for this tea already had an existing health problem, in the majority of cases a cough. A really bad, accute, chronic cough. I'm assuming nothing else helped and you were desperate to find a natural way to heal your body. So the taste is secondary. I actually don't think it's that bad. The first sip was a shocker, then I put some raw honey in it and drank it. It made it taste much better. Definitely not the tea you'll be sipping on when you want to endulge, but it definitely works! My cough was literally killing me for years and has gotten even worse. I literally stopped coughing a few minutes after my first cup! So don't put too much thought into the taste. We all tasted worse things in life! This tea works as a charm!

HOREHOUND TEA HELPS CLEAR SINUSES
Organic Horehound Tea really works ! I purchased the tea to help clear excess mucus for my 10 yr. old daughter, who suffers from allergies & chronic sinusitis, and myself. The taste of this tea is not good, but it seems to clear the excess mucus effectively. From my first cup of Horehound tea, I began to feel mucus draining to the back of my throat (which I was able to clear) within an hour of drinking the tea. My sinus issues are very mild compared to my daughter. It took about 2 - 3 days for my daughter to experience noticable results. Drinking this tea has effectively reduced her need to constantly clear her throat in the mornings and all through the day. Her breathing seems better (more clear) too. Great product !!

Tastes HORRIBLE, but it does its job!
First of all, it came 2 days early! That was a plus since I am recovering from the flu and dealing with some serious respiratory issues I needed relief from. I will say the taste of this tea is absolutely disgusting.... a very very bitter earwaxy/ rubber band/ terrible grapefruit kind of bitter. However, most people that buy this tea are buying it for medicinal purposes so the flavor isn't important.... as long as it works. I can say after finishing a half of a box that it works! At first I thought the relief I felt was just because I was drinking warm fluids, but then I noticed a big difference in the relief I felt from drinking this tea vs some others I have (Echinacea, dandelion root). It truly gets rid of sinus congestion and chest congestion. Despite the taste, 3 cups of this a day has been the only reason I can keep up with my crazy schedule. All in all, this is a great tea.....it isn't the tea you sip for enjoyment, but it does its job.

Perfect Horehound herbal tea
I thought this tea was loose leaf but was delighted to find it was in unbleached tea bags! The box is pretty, each tea bag has a thoughtful saying on the paper piece, and the tea is great horehound. Yes, it has a bitter aftertaste. It is definitely a sipping tea. Add a little sweetener (I chose a few drops of Stevia) and the tea is magnificent. I also tried what a few commentators have done and mixed it with peppermint tea to cut the bitterness. Both are nice. I needed this to keep my throat soothed as I teach online classes 9 times a day. Thoroughly recommend.

Good idea gone wrong
This is nothing against the seller, or their product. This is basic taste. We love Horehound in our house. Or we thought we did. We go through a 2 pound bag of the candies, about every 3 months or so. But the tea.....it was undrinkable for us. Coudnt do the taste. Because I will never taste it again, from anyone, I could not say if it is different from another brand. Just be forewarned, mil and honey did nothing to fix this.

Taste vs homeopathic help9
Tastes nothing like the old fashioned candies, which I liked and remembered my Grammy eating. The Tea has a bitter taste that sweetener nor creamer can camouflage. We'll see if it helps asthma as rumored, if I can choke it down. =/

Holy Cr@p it's bitter! But it's good for you...
Dude, this is NOT a fun tea.It taste something like poison grass (if that makes any sense). Imagine daikon (Japanese radish) × 1,000. Now it doesn't taste "bad", it tastes like it is "good for you".And it is really good for you! I am not a medical professional. This review is in no way, shape, or form any sort of medical advice.Be forewarned. This is not a pleasant tea. Honey will only help a little. Overpoweringly bitter. (Not rotten or disgusting, just very..... "sharp". It does get better as you get used to it.)

This tea knocked out my cold symptoms fast!
This tea has an awkward bitter taste. I used two tea bags because I was desperate to get rid of my sore throat, cough, and other cold symptoms. However, it knocked out my cold symptoms over night. I was floored!
