Helps hair stay backcombed or teased. But be careful not to use too much or it will make your hair texture hard to handle. It takes away the silky feel, but we all know that silky hair doesn't stay backcombed. This is how I apply it: make a horizontal parting in crown (from ear to ear) and sprinkle just a tiny amount right next to scalp, then continue downward with consecutive partings about 3/4 inch apart, down as far as you want to tease. I usually apply it as far as the occipital bone, just above the nape of the neck. Then I comb through hair to distribute product down the hair shaft. I don't apply product around my face (in front of ears) since I like that hair be appear more luxurious, and I don't do any teasing or backcoming in that area anyway. I only need to apply product once between shampoos, it lasts for days of teasing or backcombing. I'm 55 years old and have shoulder length hair that is heavily highlighted. This product is great for today's modern day styles, or even great for the roller set boufonts. Give it a try if you love to tease!!

I bought this about a month or two ago after I cut my hair short. I have an area where I like it to have some volume and not lay flat. This does the trick. My only complaint is that it is such a fine powder, it's tricky to get it onto the roots and not the end. I've learned to part my hair in several places to apply it to the roots. It works very well, but you do know you have product in your hair. I can put it on damp hair, lift it with a comb and dry it and it keeps the volume all day. It work so well that I can have a "Something About Mary" moment in the mornings! So the complaints are not really complaints, so I'm giving it 5 stars. I will absolutely buy this again.

Got this product and thought it was empty. It was so light weight I couldn't believe there was actually product in it. I've only used it twice so far but am happy with the results. The only downside is the price, it is quite expensive for the amount you get.

My stylist introduced me to this product, which I now buy on Amazon since it's cheaper. This is a great product. I'm sensitive to fragrances and this doesn't smell at all. Plus, you don't need much and a bottle will last you forever. I have very thin hair and it really adds a ton of volume. I will not go without this product. You only need it once a day as it will last all day. Don't hesitate - this is good stuff and not full of nasty chemicals, which I love.

'Don't know how else to explain this product other than powdered adhesive. Sprinkle a little at the base of the roots avoiding the part, hold your hair up, back comb or just tip your head upside down and POOF.. voila.. big hair! When it flattens during the day, just fluff with your fingers and poof big hair again. It does feel sticky even though it isn't. Strange but true. Be careful not to put too much in or it will look like you have baby powder in your hair. A little goes a long ways. I find that I don't have to wash my hair as often either when I use this. I tend to have oily hair after the 3rd day. I can go 4 days easily without feeling like I need a shampoo. It does feel like I have product in my hair but it looks super good. No flaking or product residue.

A great product! A little shake of the powder goes a long way. Helps to add volume and hold styling. I would definitely recommend this product!

Got an empty bottle useful!!!!!!

What an absolute joke. The product came unsealed, clearly used, and the bottle was more than half empty. Do not buy this!
