Would this work to stiffen up crochet snowflakes?

Hi, it might work but you would have to users lot. Another thing that I use for stiffening lace is something you buy in a sewing shop called Water Sokuble topping. It is a clear plastic machine embroiderers use . When you wet it , it goes like glue so ideal to stiffen lace decorations . Does this prevent further creases while wearing it? Or does it just take out the creases that were already there before ironing it?

I always use it to get the creases out of fabric before sewing it, to stabilise it for embroidery on the machine . I know it’s used on shirts but I don’t know about using it on other things . I have used It on linen as that’s hard to get creases out.

Could i use this on taffeta chair sashes to keep the bow in place?

I have always been very happy with the results of using Teflon Starch. When you receive a pack of Fat quarters they seem to me to be heavily creased lines . I flatten them out and on the other I give a good spray all over then iron on a very hot iron. My iron has a glide Teflon protector on that you can buy from Amazon. You can go from the hottest to the lowest setting and it will not damage your fabrics It’s the same with. The Taffeta. Try not to linger long on one one area. Keep the iton moving call the time with pressure do not be afraid to do this.It will give The beautiful bows the shape that you waned
