Does the PIN 14 tie to ground need to be cut to get 80hz output?

Yes, I found that it os easier to desolder the chip and bend the pin.

How to increase the speed of the readings?

Lift pin 15 and connect it to VCC,but be aware thet the reading may be more noisy at 80Hz. And you will have to use data smoothing and a lot of rolling average.

what are the dimensions of the board? What are the screw hole spacings?

The board is 21mm wide by 34mm long. The holes are 3mm in diameter and are spaced 3mm from the end of the board and 1mm from the sides.

Will this sensor interface with the gpio pins on a raspberry pi 3?

Yes it will. I'm pretty sure there is code that exists as well.
