Dyxssm Circle Fishing Hooks Octopus Barb Fishing Hook for Saltwater Freshwater

This Dyxssm hook package is perfect! I like the design of the hook. The quality is very high, it looks strong, and the price is right. The five sizes ranging from 1.0 to 5.0 covers a wide range of fishing needs. I paid ~$17 for 250 hooks because of discount coupon that was available from Amazon which knocked off 10% off of the price.Firstly, the shape of the hook closely resembles Gamakatsu Octopus hook, albeit a little shorter pattern. This hook has a shiny silky smooth finish from the eye to the very tip of the point of the hook with finely finished appearance. The point is very sharp but very strong at the same time. A part of this strength comes from the extra thick construction. The other part comes from the fact that this is made from Tungsten, a very hard and strong metal. What impressed me the most is that the hooks have been made with impressive consistency. Every hook is absolutely identical to each other. For comparison, the quality control on this hook is much higher than Mustad O'Shaughnessy - Live Bait hook (which I used to think was not bad) which I also bought days apart from this purchase (both from Amazon). After seeing how nice this is, I am seriously considering returning my Mustad. The first Mustad hook I took out from the package had a bent tip or a burr at the very tip of the hook which I would have to file out before using. Also, if one looks closely at the Mustad, the finish is rough in places, especially at the tip. Contrast this with the mirror finish of the Dyxssm. Truth be told, I first bought a 150 hook package of Dixxsm 5.0 and I was so impressed that I immediately bought this 250 hook package and I could not be happier with the purchases. I now practically have a life-time supply of excellent hooks that can be used for all kinds of situations!I also forgot to mention that another advantage of Tungsten is that it does not rust. Also, the color is dark grey-ish unlike stainless steel or nickel hooks so, it can be used for finicky fish without scaring them with the glitter. I sure hope this company stays around and does not raise the price. I think this is a bargain at the current price point for such a top-tier hook. Amazing deal!

I like these hooks a lot! They are nice and strong with a slightly offset hook. The sizes are marked on the packages in, what I assume are the sizes used in Asia. I was not familiar with the sizing but the hooks are great and since I just put them into unmarked compartments of my tackle boxes, I don't use the number when out fishing anyway. I will be buying these again! Be careful as they are very sharp, after a day of catching large and small mouth bass along with the occasional weed fish and some rather large branches these hooks were still very sharp and did not need to be sharpened or replaced.I will be keeping my eye on them to see if I can purchase a larger package of a single size in the future as well!Happy fishing!

The fish hooks were fine but they were not packaged as shown in the description. They came in ziplock baggies instead of the hard plastic case. Now I have to carry individual bags instead of 1 case.Also as circle hooks the tip should be pointed more towards the shank. Kept them as I also needed “J” hooks

Great hooks for the money. They hold up well to larger fish and seem pretty resistant to rust.
