I use it to drill water holes and mounts for ponds and fountains. Works on all types of rocks without splitting the punch through if you are careful.

I purchased this to drill through brick. I need to drill around 20 holes. This bit was worn out on the 5th hole. Bosh bits seem to last 5X as long. Not worth the money.

I used it to go through stucco and concrete walls to install outlets and A/C lines.This 1/2 drill fits securely with flattened ends for the chuck grip.It also has a handy plastic holder that can be re-used to hang it up on the workbench or a hook.Well built, strong and cuts cleanly.

Just received so I can't speak to durability, yet. If I understand the phrase "elongated four flute helix" to mean that the cutting tip is shaped like a plus sign (+), the description is wrong. The one I received is the standard two flute design. The attached info on the packaging says it has a life time warranty on breakage up to a point where it is worn out. Rare to get a warranty on a tool that has to cut through some of the toughest materials. Considering the price this is a very good deal.

Used it to split rocks with a "pin& feathers" set of wedges. Also used it to set concrete pins for holding 2x6 in place.

Dewalt is always on top. This SDS bit is perfect with my SDS rotary drill. plows through concrete slab for installing fasteners. just did 100+ holes last night with this bit about 2 inches deep and the bit is still new with no trouble. if you have trouble you are not using your drill right, this bit is top notch. this price is a no brainer, order them!Update: Completed an entire renovation installing 1/4 fasteners in slab. Bit is still showing no signs of slowing down! I normally would have used 3-4 hammer drill bits on my hammer drill, this bit with a SDS rotary hammer is the ideal combination

Can’t beat it for 3$ a bit. These are quite long so if you’re using a hammer function don’t lean into it, it’ll snap. Let the bit do the churning and take your time.

The tip broke on the first hole I tried, didn't even get 1cm drilled. I've had success with this brand before but not this time, $14 wasted.
