An excellent book about the most prolific author, author of one of the most famous characters of all times, friend and writer for Houdini, Blackstone, Thurston and more, and, along with all this, one of the nicest people you could meet.There is very little about Walter Gibson's life which is amazing. Amazing life and that there is so little known about it.If you ever heard of The Shadow you must read this book. If you are into magic, you must read this book.

This is a great resource on Walter B Gibson, the man who created the shadow. Well researched, well written. I wish more people were aware of this legend and the legend he created.If you're a fan of Batman the things you probably love about him were plagiarized from Walter B Gibson.

Walter Gibson was one of the greatest pulp authors to grace a typewriter, he originally started the pulp craze in 1931, up to 1949, also a excellent magician and friends with the greatest magicians like Harry Houdini, Blackstone Sr, and many more,

Excellent review of The Shadow series and Walter Gibson's life". Can't imagine writing a book every two weeks and for 10 plus years! The book not only chronicles the author's life, but also his life as an author. Truly a fascinating read!
