Do you have a flush or recessed power Receptacle in the handle? Is it clear that these come both ways but are otherwise 100% identical. The description And title do not make this clear. It should say “is yours recessed or flush? This is only for flush.” Anyway no way to know not to buy it, then you have to return it. It is 100% nonfunctional. Unless you have the flush one. There is no way to search for the correct one says there’s no identification of which ones which. It may be possible to switch this to recessed. But since it comes with no instructions whatsoever, no way to know.Edit: I’m still really annoyed by this. I did take it apart to make it recessed. The hard part is putting it back together correctly. If you are really, really good at taking things apart and you don’t tend to bang your head against walls when you get frustrated, you should be able to take the six screws out and change it to recessed. It is really only designed for this part to be installed in this position during manufacturing. I am about to move and I needed to provide a replacement for this.

The hose and the cover are nice. The handle appears ok, but this is my second one, and I have found the same problem with both of them. While using the hose, the electrical connections in the handle disconnect and cause the vacuum and the brush head to stop working. If I twist or bind the hose a bit, it restarts, but it will do the same thing again. Inside the handle of my first hose, I found there are 4 connectors for the hose end - this is the problem - too much room for the hose end to move around in the handle causes the connection points to disengage. I haven't found a fix other than buying a different hose and handle. I don't recommend this hose.

This is my second purchase with this company. The first hose had an electrical failure in the switch from off to power the carpet cleaner mode then back to hard floor mode. I called explaining my problem and was immediately sent a small replacement part with instructions on replacing it. Worked great. Then the hose cracked at the neck. Taped it. Taped it Again and again and again until it could not be repaired anymore. I am on my second hose. It didn’t last a year. I am not hard on my appliances. This was half the cost of the “ name brand” hose, but still..... less than a year??

We bought this unit as a 4th hose replacement in 28 years. That was when myMy husband and I installed a Vacuflo unit with 4 super outlets (flush-style). We did like the extra length of the hose and the fact that the hose protecting sleeve was already installed. The hose is sturdily built and runs our super outlets for connecting the powerhead. The hose is a bit thinner that our previous hoses. It was a bit more prone to kinking, however it was easy to shake or pull on the hose and resolve the kink. Otherwise, we have been quite happy with it,

I purchased this hose to replace one that started fraying at the connection site of my vacuum. This one was supposed to be compatible with my vacuum, but it isn't. The connector will not click into place and I have to hold the connector and the vacuum simultaneously in order to vacuum the rugs. The hose kinks all the time. On a positive note, the suction works well.

Had to return this hose. It fit my outlet and had power, but it did not power my powerhead, even though the connection was the same type (flush). AND, the cord kinks very easily. It is very cheap thin plastic. I might have tolerated the kinking if it would work.

Bought this hose to replace an older 20 year old plastic hose, also a new full central vac brush and carpet component. This hose kinked all the time especially at the handle. We had for 6 months and I had to try to gerry rig around the handle to not have the host kink. I wish I could get my $ back. Just bought another vacuum hose from ThinkVacuums.com must better warranty and better hoses. Dont buy this!

This 35' hose was a replacement for my OEM 30' hose from VacuMaid. Like my original hose, this one will also kink. The "sock" and reinforcements to hold it in place at each end work well. After a few weeks of use, I find it works well and feel it was a good value when compared with several others.

It is supposedly a universal connector but is very loose in one of our outlets. It does work if we use the outlet cover to hold it in place. If fits the 2nd outlet properly. Nice that it came with the hose sock. We purchased it to replace an older 30 ft hose that the electrical stopped working on and the extra 5 ft gives full coverage without having to stretch the hose.

The product is fine but the price is not. It cost me $250. For this item. This is where they get you, they know you need it so figured they would charge what they want. I don’t know for sure but probably made in China, but I had no other choice.

Fast shipping and feels very light and flexible to move around the house. Great quality sock and great length. Very happy with this purchase.

A great 4-wire hose. Comfortable to hold. Good quality sock. Very generous length of electrical cord on the plugin. A great product for the money.
