This specialty Black tea is a variety known as Orange Pekoe. It’s from organic tea plantation in Ceylon. The big island just south of India! It’s a strong full bodied tea where a little less used than normal will get you a strong cup. Delicious hot or cool

Q: When you cook this on a low fire for a long time does it produce good aroma? Is the tatse so bitter? Is it real Orange Pekoe (OP) grade from Sri Lanka

Don't "simmer" it over a low fire for a long time. I steep it for about 15 minutes and brew it quite strong, about 25 grams/gallon (aprox 1/2 cup), for kombucha. really nice aroma and not bitter.

Q: Can you Cold brew these tea leaves?

I drink it hot, but I suppose you could bre it then refrigerate it. Might want to use less expensive brand.
