MerrellMen's Jungle Leather Slip-On Shoe

I have a leather pair that I have worn almost exclusively for at least 4 1/2 years. I still love them. I want a new pair just like the old ones. These are the closest I found. The “leather” on the new ones (these) was not on par with the old ones. I put one on for a few seconds. I didn’t want to keep them.I have had Merrell shoes in different styles for probably 15 years; they just feel so well made. I don’t know of another brand that feels as solid and supportive as the Merrells have.My older pairs were made in Vietnam ( the ones I love); these ones that I felt I just needed to return, made in China.I gave them the 4 instead of less because they are probably good shoes to someone with less expectations. I am honestly at a loss how to replace my slip on Merrell leather shoes .

These shoes are amazing. Your get the convenience of a no lace, slip on and your get excellent support. I walk during my commute to work and an hour every lunch break. These shoes give great support and hold up well. I purchased them three months ago and they are good as new. I don't know why the black pair costs $30 more than the beige pair but I just put an order in today!

I purchased these house shoes, would have liked to have seen them just a touch wider and just a hair more room for my toes. However, the arch support that is in there has been great for me. Any shoes that I am wearing long term needs to have special inserts. I end up paying a fortune for those inserts, so I was hoping that these would be good for wearing in the house. I’ve never had any problems with my arches when wearing these. Not sure I would wear them all day long, but that’s because of my particular problems, not the shoes. I would like to see them just a hair bigger than what they are, but I’m very satisfied with them. If I were to purchase some for using all the time, I would get a half a size larger. Overall a great value and I will purchase more from Merrel.

The size was exact - fit perfectly.Slipped on easily without any folding, bunching, collapsing, or any of the other annoyances of other slip-on I've tried.Snug & comfortable all day.No rolling ankles or falling out.Removable insert so the shoe can dry out overnight without stinking.I don't have a single bad thing to say about these shoes. In fact, I'm going to order another pair to have as back up!

Sharp looking and gives you good posture. Somewhat comfortable but could use a little more support at the heel of the foot. I’d still buy another few pairs because these are a godsend for those with arthritis etc.. NO BENDING OVER TO TIE SHOES!!! just slip them on and go walk the dog, get the mail jump in your car and go shopping, my walking whatever really terrific!!

Having a job that requires me to stand on my feet for 8-10 hours a day these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Only downside is, despite the impressive looking tread on the bottom these do not do well on slick floors or surfaces. Have talked many friend and co-workers into buying these and they have had some of the same issues on slick surfaces but for comfort and durability they are hard to beat.

Fits great and easy on. Never buy lace shoes again. I am 75 and lacing shoes is different. These look good too.

I bought some Merrill trail shoes in the same size over 4 years ago. I have a wide foot and New Balance is the only other shoe brand that I buy. These mocs fit just fine and they are easer to put on and take off than any other mocs that I have had. I have a high arch and with these shoes I can just insert part of my foot and kick-scuff so my foot goes right in. My size is 8.5, 2W.

After several pairs of these over the years I was considering something different for my day to day shoes. I decided to give them one more try and I'm happy I did - great fit, high quality construction and so comfortable.

4 season slip-on that’s comfortable, supportive, and water resistant. Suede! Lightweight. Good for walking about, light hiking, camping, travel. The perfect 2nd pair to take on a business trip. A true slip-on that you can actually step into. Good for walking on pavement as well as turf or dirt and even in a little snow or mud. Can be worn in a wide range of temperatures and conditions. As stable and supportive as you can get in a low top shoe. Decent foot protection. Good for driving, light yard work, trudging around in the outdoors. What’s the downside? No one will ever call these shoes fashion forward. Not for wet floors or ice. Not so good for bicycling, a good light running shoe is better. The suede is luxurious and surprisingly water resistant, but must be cared for. Clean with a small nylon brush - dollar store one will do. Brush away salt ASAP. Avoid cleaning suede upper with water and especially soap unless absolutely necessary. I wouldn’t treat the leather with anything, it’s not needed. Outsole is plastic - wash freely with water, pay attention to salt. Also, as with any shoe, it ain’t for every foot. Try this shoe on, if it’s not comfortable right away it won’t be - find another that’s right for your foot. But if it’s comfy right away, it will stay that way - buy it, the price is right for a quality shoe that will last. OK it’s kind of ugly, but for a reason - it’s an enduring, winning product design that doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not.

Great for slipping on and off.Bought another pair for working around the yard.
