Solid training tools for Kendo practice
This set is well made and helps with form practice. I recommend the set as typically I only see the long bokken and not both the long and short. For form practice this set is excellent.

Sturdy trainers
Seems like sturdy trainers that should hold up to training if used properly.

Solid wood, good weight, ok balance
Only 2 minor issues:Experts may find the handles a little short with the tsubas on.Also, tsubas are chocolate brown, which is not a great match. They should be black.

Good For Bokuto keiko
Good for beginners practicing kendo or bokuto keiko, heavier than ordinary shinai. Make sure you put the tsuba accordingly, or it won't fit.

Very durable
Excellent training tool...

Perfectly fine for the average user
I wouldn’t attempt to spar with this, (and the tsuba tends to loosen) but it works just fine for forms and basic training.

Good Product, garbage packaging for shipment
Had scratches on the finish when I finally received this. Gonna get scratched up in practice, but maybe next time double wrap the product in paper instead of just shrink wrapping in crappy plastic. Former packaging designer -
