DEWALT 4-in x 5/8 to 11-in Arbor Carb

Works very good for rust and paint removable. Holding up well, losing very few wires. Face and eye protection a must, gloves and sleeves advised!

I was very pleased with the price of the this wire brush compared to big box stores locally and it performs very well fast rust removal very thick stuff gauge wire makes it a very fast clean up process fits standard 5/8-11 angle grinders and as far as durability goes i have used it for multiple projects now and it is still going strong i am very pleased so far

4-stars only. It's cheap and it works fine. You have to make your own decision as to what level of quality is good enough for you. For me it's fine, I am not expecting $50 quality for under $20. I am ok with using it more gently to extend it's useful life.So far it has held together well. I mostly use it for weld prep or plasma cut clean up on steel and aluminum. It leaves some interesting patterns in the scrap wood worktop if I slip, and I've thought about how to use that effect in some woodwork projects.Those wires do give out sometimes, as any brand will, so don't be a tool and skip the safety stuff. Eyes, ears, skin. I've been happy with my light welding jacket, slivers that do get through the cotton are going much slower... I swap out the #5 dark for clear glasses and use cheap gloves instead of the nice (but very thin) TIG gloves depending on what else I'm doing at the time.

These strip off paint very easily! Dewalt quality, can't go wrong here.

Great wire wheel, better quality than cheaper brands. Lasts a long time and rarely throws strands. Lasts even longer if you keep it away from sharp edges like those on plate steel, etc. Blows rust, paint, corrosion, anything really right off the metal. I noticed it last longer the more worn down it gets. Will last also longer if you switch to a flap disc or sanding pad once you get the thick stuff off. I order a few and still have the first one. Used it to clean up the floor of a cherokee, few diff covers, and plenty of other things I can't think of right now and its still got some life left.Doesn't often throw strands like I said, but when it does they sting! Eye protection and gloves are a must, and long sleeves highly recommended. Be careful to keep it away from skin like anything attached to a grinder. 5 stars, just wish they were cheaper but at least they last awhile!

Good purchase, I should have purchased this for my Dewalt Angle Grinder a long time ago. I have a project to remove rust from my porch railings before painting. The Dewalt wire took the rust off very quickly. I was not sure how well this would work,, but this worked great. I would purchase this again.

Same as what box store sells but 1/2 the price.

Good product

Does its job perfectly, and lasted longer than I thought it would. Not too many flying bristles as other wire wheels have thrown off in the past. Shipping was also fast and efficiant. Very happy with the purchase and will be buying another soon.
